Headers, CAI and a UR lightweight crank pulley, dropped my TL from 15.55 to a 14.99 quarter mile time.

that doesn't look like a COLD air intake to me

you could get the comptech STB, it looks very pretty, but i think the performance from it would be minimal

a little paint done right, can go a long way too. but do it wrong, and it'll just be
or instead of paint, you could try and do the custom CF thing, but that is always $$

yea its a short ram intake. still does the job. i live in Massachusetts, so the long ram would actually ruin the filter with all the rain and snow we get.

im going to look very closely at the comtech headers. thanks guyz

get an icebox then, works as a cai without exposing the filter to all that crap. or make a little box to cover your filter and run a tube down to the bumper. short ram is pointless imo....why would you wanna expose a filter to all that hot air

and yes like niteqwill said...JET HOT headers. so regretting not doing mine before instaling them

The ULEV label means it is a CL-P.

I've seen lots of CL-P's that didn't have ULEV on there.

omg the amount of heat that the headers give off without a heat shield on is lol thats the main reason why. plus they look so shiny

I've seen a type-s one time with ULEV. Coulda been a ricer iono. If you want HP I would recommend getting CAI, Headers, Custom 2.5" piping exhaust, CL Type-s Throttle swap including intake manifold, UR Crank Pulley and that should be enough hp for you.

yea the hyper voltage gt does the trick, i notice all my lights are brighter, my sound system sounds better, and I get a better radio signal. as far as HP it gives the sparkplugs a larger spark, I feel a very noticeable increase in acceleration, and a little torque. I can feel the difference there, but as far as gas mileage its not that much, I tested it to the best of my ability and found it to only get 1 mile per gallon better, which isn't too bad I guess...

my hyper ground wires should be coming in the mail today so ill install them and let you know how the whole package works.

Like everyone else said....get headers. And then maybe look at getting the Icebox instead of the Short Ram. Pulleys would also add some hps. And then maybe some spacers and cooling mods.
