I like it +1, except for the Mugen -1
T4S setup looks good +1
-I will take blunt honesty over dolled up, people-pleasing lines anyday-

and the grille is very similar to the Mugen TL grille in this picture(which i found out after the fact). so, granted i dont have like mugen wheels or performance parts...i do have a small mugen theme goin.

What did you do with the air box? It is kinda of snakey, you can change it to basically go up in a J shape into the intake/tb area and be less restrictive and lengthy. Sorry for the vague description...I did it on my 3G TL but had some bumper work done so the body shop did it since the bumper was off anyways. There is a thread detailing the process in the 3G TL section.
Also, how did you change the grill (and I don't mean the Mugen part
)? It looks like you cut the wings off and pushed the grille part back?

i also decided to take out my stock intake return box out while i had the bumper off, may have freed up a little air/+HP?
so far no leaks...took the better part of 1.5 days
i think once i have my black 19's with the polished lip this conversion will look even better![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The J30A1 used in the 6th-generation Accord (1998-2002) has heads which are very similar to the J32* engines used in Acura CL and TL Type-S engines of approximately the same years. This makes it possible to swap in J32A2 camshafts. These are readily available and not particularly expensive (about $200 for two camshafts plus $40 or so for gaskets and other items, vs. $1000+ for custom-ground camshafts from other sources) and produce excellent performance gains, particularly in the mid to high RPM range. However, the stock J30A1 valve springs are not as stiff as the J32A2 valve springs, so the valves may need adjustment more frequently than on an unmodified J30A1 engine. Also, 1998-1999 Accords used a distributor, which means the rear camshaft has to be notched by a machinist in order to work in those cars. (2000 and above J30A1s use direct ignition and thus can be dropped in unmodified.)
Those are the cheapest/easiest mods, of course they are mutually beneficial to eachother. Otherwise, the next steps up are engine builds/upgrades, NAWS, then FI. Many of these facts and ideas are available via the search function.
