Finally got the nsx calipers on today. Install went pretty smooth considering it was my first time doing brakes

I need to paint the NSX lettering. Apparently when you sand the paint down to metal and leave it, it'll rust after it rains I think i'll just do a silver, keep it simple.

Finally! Looks great man, have you noticed any improvement in braking feel?

braking feels pretty similar but I honestly have not driven it a ton to test it. I want to do another bleed this weekend.

My research told me I'd need spacers to clear them with my rims and I didn't want to get into that. Plus I get to keep my rotors and pads and just add some nicer looking calipers with a bit better stopping power. That's good enough for what I use the car for.

I just read your Car Talk thread, glad your family is ok after the accident. You're now apart of CTS-V & S4-zine! lol. I love the S4, so nice.

To say it was anything short of scary is an understatement... Thanks Gnuts!

Looking forward to the new build; been entirely way too long since the last project that was aborted lol.

Got the last two bits of trim pieces replaced that were covered in residue from the silver trim shit.

I really want to get the heat addressed before more boost. Underhood temps are roasting. I need to wrap the headers and put some heat reflective tape in certain areas. Then I'll monitor again with Torque Pro.

Got new tires put on today. My Yokohama envigors were cracked, one had a nail, but the tread was still good. Got a great deal on some ultra high performance tires.

Looking great! That front end shot is awesome with the lip installed. Did you install yourself and is it molded or just fastened?
Interior also looks near perfect! You're about as OCD as me haha

thanks! I did it myself many years back...probably like 8 years ago on my old CL6. It's on permanently (epoxy) and the seam is filled in. The sides were cut in half and shortened and filled in, rear was the same as the front. It is molded a little, but it still looks like it would bolt off, except it won't.

Thank you! It's been a long journey to get all of the ebay trim crap off and get those pieces replaced. It's looking like new, I'm loving it.

I'm keeping my eyes out for some good shocks, or coilovers now but that might not be until next year.

New rear sway bar in with Moog endlinks put on finally. Those OEM links are the worst things in the world to get off. Used some greasable energy suspension bushings as the Eibach ones were cracked.

Thanks man, it's been so reliable and resale sucks so much its hard to get rid of it. I'm hoping to wrap the headers this fall and see how the engine temps change.
Next year I'd like to get some new shocks or coilovers.

Just got back from Myrtle Beach with the family for 2 weeks. Drove both ways straight there with stops for food. Kids had a blast. The van is great for long trips, much better than our old Rav4. Only had to stop for gas once and arrived with over half a tank.
Went to wash the Acura and found a few scratches. Looks like one of the kids bumped their bike into it. Managed to get nearly all of it out.

Thanks again Diddy! They spruce up the front a lot since the RPF1s show a lot of caliper.

Said goodbye to my winter beater today and my wife's first car. 1999 Nissan Sentra. Bought Roxy 12 years ago for $4,300. Was a great car and only thing we ever had to replace was the exhaust as it rusted out. I calculated the cost of ownership as $27.78 per month lol.

Also said goodbye to the CL yesterday. I've been driving a CL6 since 2006. My journey is over. Best cars I've ever owned. Never had anything major go wrong, very reliable and easy to work on. I think it aged really well and no one ever expected it was a 2003. Right now we only have the van, so just keeping my eyes out for a commuter for my wife. Looking at a Honda Fit in manual.
I'll be around lurking most likely, but thanks for everyone for all the help and answers over the years.
I helped install TL rims for the new owner. Looked great!

Last month we picked up a Honda Fit for my wife's commute. Searched for a while for one in white or blue and manual sport trim. We had it for a month and my wife was in an accident and totaled it. She's totally fine. The other car was a large work van so it demolished the Fit. I was going to try and fix it until I noticed a hairline crack in the block that was leaking.
The accident was this past Friday and that night she left for the weekend on a girls trip. I just happened to look online to see what cars were out there and I found the identical car. Original owner and a great price. They drove it to me today and I surprised my wife. She was in tears! Need to swap a few things over to the new car for the safety.

it's pretty fun to drive surprisingly. It's just so small and zippy with the manual.

the other car she hit had a tiny dent in the steel bumper, lol. It hit so high on the Fit that it just exploded. If the other car was a small sedan, it would have just been a bumper cover. I'm taking tomorrow off to swap some parts over then get the safety done.

Sorry to see you get rid of your CL. Am I the only person on here besides Brian who actually plans to keep my CL forever? (not as a daily driver obviously) Why would anyone get ride of their CL? The resale value is minimal. Wouldn't you want to keep it forever sort of like the guys from the 60's have their original/restored Vettes, Mustangs, etc? 20 yrs from now I'll be at "classic" car shows with my mint condition CL
