Finally Got a CL!

Ok, I've made a couple posts so far, but mostly just read what other people are writing... learning some cool things... I like the site! I just got my car a couple weeks ago... it's just a plain CL, but I don't race or anything, so I like it... and I got a hellllll of a deal on it! I wish I knew what the color was called, but I will do a little more research on the color code and find it I'm sure. It got the second tranny put in it the day I bought it. Thanks for the questions you've answered so far, and I will be doing some things to it, so I'm sure I will be asking more... but I DO use the search button, so don't be too hard on me!!

Just got the 5% done today!

yeah... I'm not even sure how to start the drop... I'm still readin on the different things you have to buy. Never really had a car that I wanted to drop before so it's a new thing for me! Doin research also on peoples rim/tire sizes so I dont end up with somethin that will rub. Those TL rims look sweet on the CL though!

Actually its not. Aegean Blue Pearl was a Type S color.

His car is a CL-P and the color is Monterey Blue Pearl. The code for that color is B-93P.

I'm not too sure about the ABP folks...

This is a CLP, I think ABP is a CLS only color... I'd guess it's another one of the blues... Monterey Blue Pearl (I think that was the CLP color - B93P)...

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=paint

If you get the paint code, you can find out for sure...

EDIT: Shit, Brett beat me too it while I was searching around

Sweet ride.! I love the color. My pick-up I had before the CL was about the same color. Looks real nice when clean and with tint.

If you want to drop it and don't want to have to get a camber kit, just don't go too low. Everyone here will tell you that every car seems to sit differently though so it's hard to say until you lower it.

yeah, I'd like to drop it a little, but not too low, as the roads here in Jax aren't taken care of the greatest, and I'm not the most careful driver in the world either. Any suggestion on how much to drop it? I dont even know yet if I want to put 18's or 19's. Still in early planning stages.... I had to throw down a few G's to get the car, so it'll be a little bit before I can afford any big purchases but it's cool cause I need to do my research first anyhow.

I love that color.

I was thinking it wasn't Aegean Blue Pearl... for some reason it looked too dark to be ABP and too light to be Monterey Blue Pearl.

Looks nice though .

I googled the paint code (B96P) and it says Eternal Blue Pearl on the top 2 matches, so I'm guessing that's what it is!

Really wanted a Type-S, but I have a friend who is a Manager of a Lexus Dealer and he got this in on a trade and gave it to me for just about what they paid for it, plus he got the dealership to pay to fly me up there, pay for my gas all the way home (1200 miles) and gave me a Fidelity Gold Plus warranty (48,000 mi) at his cost. I couldn't pass!
