Edashkit.com "aluminum kit"

i saw kits similar to this on other forum member's cars. so i decided they weren't so bad-looking. when i received the kit, my first impression was that the material was pretty tacky. it almost looks like they tried going for the chrome look as to brushed aluminum. but it's not really all that bad. a piece or two were slightly off in cut and they go cheap on you by giving you only two tubes of the adhesive primer which you need to keep these on the dash. so if anyone goes for this, just a heads-up, buy some more of the primer before installation.

I've seen the plastic coated silver kits, it goes good with your bowling ball trim.
I opted for the real brushed aluminum, there is no coating on it. It costs more but is real metal.

Good luck with that! I've been searching high and low!

Sun Diego, I think it looks good from the pic but I wish I could see it in person before I buy the kit.

No on makes kits to cover those areas, only for dash, consoles, window controls, etc. mostly just pieces that lie flat on top of flat surfaces.

damn it! i just happened to not scrolled through that bar since i assumed the aluminum one (pictured above) was the only one.
well, now one of you ebony interior CLers has to get the brushed aluminum. cos this one looks like chrome covered by a plastic layer. and god knows how fugly the chrome one has got to be!

Call Acura. The door pieces are a part of the d/p and they are not sold separately. I checked. See if you can find a wrecked one in a junk yard and try to get them there. I have an extra set of the console pieces that I got in the Black Market. Try looking in there too but they don't come up too often.

That one is an '03. Only the '03 Type-S' come with that trim.
