The ride isnt that harsh. I mean you do feel most bumps. Boston streets are not the greatest of course. But I mean "it costs to floss". Speed bumps arent bad at all. I mean I drive down the harshest streets. If I dont hit any hard bumps, i'm fine. I rode on smaller tires and never bent a rim. So i'm good. My wheels dont even touch the wheel well at all. I know its hard to believe but its true. I've made full uturns hit bumps and aside from a rough ride everythings cool.

Damn, suprised how good it looks. Not a fan of the chrome, would've liked to see something other than that but hey the damn car still looks good.

The color is the bestest too. No bias.

they look a little too big in my opinion. not too bad, though.

i sure as hell hope the roads up in MASS are nicer than they are down here! they wouldn't last an hour on baltimore roads!

my 19s only lasted 4 months with 35 series tires!

That is the exact reason why I went with 18's instead of 19's. A little more sidewall can make a world of difference.

It's good to see the Aegean Blue's come out strong from time to time.

You posted "comments welcome" on your original post bro! This isn't Hands Across America, it's a fuckin forum, so don't get butt-hurt if people don't like your mods!

If you like it, that's all that should matter.

Shit, my factory 17's are bent. I firmly believe 18's are more practical for a DD on average streets. I'm dying to have 19's but I couldn't drive slow enough to roll on 20's. Not in this car.

Are you sure those are 225/35/20?? they look very thin, I have the same size tire on my car and they look nothing like that. Maybe cuz yoiur tucking so much? That tire size is def comfortable too, it feels like your riding on 19".

That's one of the better setups with 20s, but IMO they don't look right on the CL. Not to mention, your sidewall is how tall? A half inch? That thing must ride like . I wouldn't get too attached to that setup given the road conditions in the Northeast. To each their own, if you like it, thats all that matters.

I guess I'm a hater b/c I'm expressing my opinion.

I didn't mean to hijack, I was just trying to compare the same tire size in two different pics. BTW, props for going with a 20" that doesn't have the trendy lip design, look even bigger because of that.

Hey its my car, doesn't bother me what people think. As long as the bitches love it.

You start your post off by saying you'd kick his ass if he were standing in front of you; why? Because he doesn't like your setup? You threaten to "kick someone's azz" b/c they didn't like your car, and 5 sentences later you contradict yourself by saying that it doesn't bother you what people think. You said the 21 year old is still wet behind his ears, but it appears that the 25 year old is the one that needs to do the growing up.

You posted your car on an Internet Forum in search of comments/opinions. You can't expect everyone to like that setup; get some thicker skin. If you like it, thats all that matters. You can't act like a baby or threaten them with a fight if someone voices their OPINION that you may not agree with. If you can't handle negative feedback, don't post the pictures. Voicing an opinion is not childish. Not being able to handle that opinion is.

Some of the fanboys around here get annoying. Here's why his setup is cool:

He stuffed huge rims (for this model car anyway) in his wheel wells. The car is not lifted or "ghetto" by any means. In fact, he has it slammed and quite frankly big rims that tuck some tire on a lowered car is what's hot these days. The CL is a luxury coupe, and although very performance oriented and well handling, isn't really much of a sports car. Especially the automatics, which is the predominant version.

I'm just saying that it's another look and that it suits the CL very well. I just wanted to point this out so maybe some people who don't like the look will warm up to it..

Damn. We can't all be the same. Bad enough I've started seeing ABP CL's everywhere now. I appreciate just about every car for it's unique style. At least it's a CL and not a Taurus.

second, if you're gunna do 20's at least do something with a lip
third, holy shit that is a lot of chrome

but...nice car color and nice height i'll give you that

edit: listen to what people are saying, you're going to bend your rim so fast with those tires. its one thing to slap on an ill-fitting tire on a rim and say it fits. its another thing to put a correctly sized tire on a rim and say it fits.
