Cleared headlights and tried something different on my grill
After contemplating on if I should do this or what I took a step, thanks to Acurazine and that hot search option and mclarenf3387 had given me some tips. For those whom want to know how was my weekend, well, I tell you, NEVER AGAIN, I spent all day on these headlights but it was so worth it. Not only did I clear my headlights but I tried something different on my grill. Painted ABP and took off the small lines off the inside of the grill leaving the wing by it self with out support, sanded down, primered, painted, cleared. Also painted the chrome Acura wing with a dark blue metallic paint and cleared, it grew on me, what you think?

which thread did you use as a DIY? there's a lot of them but I'm not sure which one to trust. Lately I've seen a lot of pplz melting their headlight assembly.

nice. and some people say it's soo easy to clear headlights.
and that's the proper way to paint the grille, those verticle bars are supposed to be invisible.

I actually cut those verticle bars out and sanded everything smooth, now you can see right through and wipe the grill w/o having to wipe per section with those lil bars...
Yea, and those headlights wewff, the gunk and the mess is what makes the job hell...

Looks good.
Yeah, clearing them isn't that easy, but I can do a set of lights pretty quickly now Takes practice, but its still messy and a PITA.
How do the sides of the lights fit? Nice and flush?
Glad to hear I could be of assistance. Can't wait to see it this Sunday.

Looks really good. The clear lights clean it up and the ABP logo is really cool.
I'll be FedExing my CL to your house so you can do mine next weekend!

Hey Kahrupt, how much do you think it would cost for me to end up doing the grille like yours @ a body shop? I'm really feeli'n the outer color matching.
It's a subtle change. But realyl does a lot for the front end.
