Ok so real quick gonna post this picture. I used a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range), I've been wanting to try this for quite some time. Basically you take multiple images and combine them to get all your highlights, shadows, and any midrange quality. With this photo I had the problem of the light color of the car, the dark color of the wheels, and also the mid range colors/tones from the sunset. What do you all think?

Lol stfu ho! I explained it so people who don't know don't say "What's HDR?" And thanks! This is my very first attempt at it, and I didn't really mess with the final product a whole lot.

 

Im sure anyone thats been on car forums from '07-on knows what HDR is, or has at least seen [overdone] examples of it

Why do those pictures look so orange when posted here? They don't look that way on FB.

 

Lol Facebook quality sucks. These are more accurate since they are Flickr links. I had my white balance on direct sunlight for a bit, but it didn't really show the orange tone from the sunset that day. so I switched it up to more accurately show that color.

 

Nice shot Ty...HDR was the first thing reason I decided I wanted to get into photography. I agree, nice that you didn't overdo it.
