Yes but I think it was due to needing new coil packs because after I replaced two of them on the cylinders that had misfires the code went away and has not re-appeared since.

As far as stickers go I feel that they are a personal touch on the car, something that makes the car reflect my personality a bit more.

Also does anyone know a good brand of cheap/semi reliable lug nuts? I'd like ones that lock and I also rounded a few off slightly when putting the wheels on.

I think the stickers look good man, the crowd round here seems much more reserved. Your stickers are for the most part very tasteful, I think they add a lot to the car.

Anymore than one or two stickers is childish unless it's a full race car.

Thanks. It's not just the crowd here it's mostly everyone. I really don't care if someone else likes it it's my car. And like I said before, they add a more personal touch to the car since they reflect my personality and mannerisms.

Does anyone know the size of most Acura centercaps? My stock wheels are back in STL and I forgot to check before I left to come back to school. Thanks for looking!

Ugh. Damn CEL is back. Still for the misfire on 4, and now it's back to misfire on 6. So far I've replaced all the spark plugs, coil packs on 4/5, and cleaned the EGR ports on the manifold. After changing the coil packs in February, it went away until a few days ago. I got the codes checked, gettin a P0304, misfire on 4, P0306, misfire on 6, a P1399, random misfire detected, and P0300, random misfire detected. The 1399 gives "probable cause" as blocked EGR or valve clearance out of range. Really hoping I don't need a valve adjustment cause I don't have that kind of money right now. The 0300 gives probable causes as fuel system concern, ignition system concern, MAF sensor fualty, H02S/AF (what is this?) ratio sensor fault, or blocked intake or exhaust system. Car runs ok, spite the misfire every now and then, no idle issues or stuff like that. A month ago or so it didn't start first try, but a pump of the gas and another try and it started right up with no CEL or and noticeable issues. I am really lost here as I don't know what it could be and I want to nail this before May as I have quite a few meets to attend and I want to get it sorted out before putting miles on the car. Also for reference it's an 02 with 184k. What do you all think I should replace first?

H02S/AF = O2 sensor

Maybe its worth taking a look at the injectors? I hate chasing misfires because they could be many different things.

Yeah, been after this one for quite awhile now. I'm almost leaning towards something air related just because of the cost lol. But what makes you think it might be injectors?

Well, a misfire is caused by air, fuel or spark. If spark checked out, I doubt the valves on those two cylinders would out of spec, so that brings me to fuel.

Unless you have a slight vacuum leak When I was chasing my random misfires, it turned out it was a cracked lower runner on cylinder 4.

I would check IM top cover gasket and make sure that its not upside down... Those misfiries are not accurate... I had misfire on 2,3,4 cylinders and finally figured out that piston rings on cyl 5 and 6 were shot...

Its worth to check the runners. I personally doubt its injectors. I have used o2 sensor but i dont think that what it is. I also have few used injectors that i can give them to you. As well as egr for small fee.

I did discover today that my airbox has a broken clip, and is not fully sealed. Do you think that that could be an issue?

How do you tell if it is upside down or not? And how would I tell if the runners are bad? Sorry engine work is not my strongpoint.

The only way the runner would be bad is if there is a crack.

The broken clip on the airbox unfortunately wont be the issue, as its before the TB.

Does the car run any differently when those codes pop up?

Nope. Runs fine, idles fine, responds fine, shifts fine, everything is just fine. Which is what makes it so annoying!

If you clear it, does it come back instantaneously? I occasionally get a 0300-06 and the 1399. Its usually once a month for me. I just figure its my cars' period

It goes away after about 3 starts. Like yesterday I turned it on after not driving it for a day or so to get dinner. Drove for like 5 minutes to get a pizza, turned it off. It was off for around 2 minutes. When I got back in and started, no CEL. Got gas right after, same story just a little more time, no CEL upon start. I will probably have to go out here pretty soon, so I will see if it comes back on.

What up?!

Little update, wanted to have this done before the Natl meet but apparently nobody in my area sells Plasti-Dip so I had to order some from Ace Hardware. Did the whole grill and the rear emblem.

Rear:

Front:

The marks on there are just bugs I promise had to do some highway driving today. Withstood the bugs nicely. Also I broke one of the little plastic screw holes in the exterior trim of the grill. Stupid things are brittle as hell I only turned the screw about one full turn and it just snapped. I'll prolly just end up gluing it as I don't want to have to buy a whole new piece and re spray it.

Also just rolled over 187k few hours ago. Uhhhhhh that's about it as far as I can remember. Thanks for looking!
