Yep. Autozone can rent you the spring compressor for ~$20.
Its much easier to swap springs with air tools, but Ive done it in the past with regular hand tools (Im never doing that again).

Don't kill yourself
Since the car is almost 10 years old, some of the bolts may have seized up. Get some PB Blaster and soak them some time before attempting the install.

Definitely use some PB blaster.
Also, when installing the struts, I like to either disconnect the sway bar or get the struts on both sides mounted to the strut tower before attaching the strut forks(front)/knuckle(rear) and bolting everything up. I found that whenever I installed one side entirely, the pressure on the sway bar transferred to the opposite side and made it a pain in the ass to get the range of motion I needed to get everything in.
Make sure you put the car back onto the ground before you tighten the lower control arm bolts so the bushing is in its natural position. It saves it from twisiting and tearing.
Use factory torque specs so you dont over/undertighten anything. Also remember to torque the wheels down before going on the test drive - I forgot to on my Civic the first time I did the suspension and was wondering why the car was wobbling
Oh, and air tools
Im probably missing some pointers since its been a few months since Ive touched the suspension.

So the springs should be on this week sometime (I hope). Having it done in the suspensions class here at my school, so I'm happy about that cause I don't have to do it cause I am lazy. Will post a plethera of pics when it's sitting down.
Also, how do I change the main title of the thread? Always see people doing this, no idea how.

You have to suck a moderators dick to get a title change.
Just ask nicely and post what you want the title to be.

So I'm going to try and put the Tein's on tomorrow. Weather is supposed to be real nice. We shall see though as I'm not sure if I will have help and I don't want to do it by myself.

You coulda had Thanksgiving dinner twice. Like I said, I do not have time to do it during the week, and not enough know-how or the tools to do it myself. Or the location to work on it. My parking lot is slanted. Trust me, I walk by them in the box every day and just want them out of the box and on the car.
