Gorgeous color car
Didn't realize people still had those big boxes in trunk

Why is the tint so matte finish ? Gloss would be better imho

Congrats to you but I never understood this mod. Why would you want to reduce visibility of your brake lights? Aren't you increasing the likelihood of being rear ended??

All about being murdered out or whatever kids call it

This was popular in the west coast in 2005

And yes successfully there has been tickets and insurance settlement of when you get rear ended and your tails were not within spec, of you being in trouble . Need a smart cop and insurance adjuster to figure out

If its the same visibility, then why mod? Just trying to understand. Again its your car, so you can do as you wish.

So why didn't you just remove the housings to do this? They're incredibly simple to get in and out and would have made it a lot simpler.

I about lost my coffee on my computer screen...fantastic post.

OP, might I suggest once it's dried for a good week...hit it with a compound then polish...the results will make it so glossy it'll look like the plastic is tinted rather than sprayed on.

Just don't overdo it or you'll burn through the VHT and give it light spots.
