Blackfired! 2003 Aegean Blue Pearl..
For those that are wondering about how Blackfire works/looks I decided to take the plunge and did the whole deal:
1) Wash car w/Dawn
1a) Toro Leafblower (but of course!)
2) Blackfire Poly-Clay2 - works okay. The clay kinda dries out a little--and yes I used the clay lubricant fairly liberally. The results turned out okay. I'm thinking the cooler temps (low 60s) may have contributed to the clay issues.
3) Blackfire polish - Generally went on okay. Sometimes there were areas that were kinda tough to remove.. I think it was either the microfiber cloth getting clogged, or moisture.. All in all pretty satisfied.
4) Blackfire (1 coat) sealant/wax - The sealant went on/off great. Was really happy with how it worked.
5) Blackfire Tire cleaner/dressing - I really liked the cleaner, the gel dressing is going to take some getting used to though. Does a great job overall tho.
6) Stoned my glass too!
(and YES, that is a F*&^ING door ding in the photo!!
Frigging a-hole)

it's a bit cloudy so they aren't "great". Trust me tho, the car shines pretty darned good.
I've never used Zaino so I can't make a fair comparison. But it's definitely easier to use than Meguires. I used the gold class last time and it turned out okay--nothing special tho. Meguires def doesn't last long.
Next time I'm going to use my orbital buffers to apply the larger areas. But I'm happy with how it turned out by hand, using the supplied MicroFiber pads.
And it took me about 7-8 hours total, over 2 days. Yeah it's a lotta work! But I think the results turned out pret-ty darned good!

Am considering this from Best Buy (Kenwood 2x12" sub box) or some other sound mod. Bose blows.

And thanks for the compliments!

It looks really good at night.. I got a few compliments last nite when I went to the movies. One guy asked if it was custom paint..
I'm really happy with the Blackfire results. I'm sure zaino is great but I just don't have the time/desire to put on so many coats. And the clincher for me was the "desert test" where it was shown that zaino actually *attracted dust/dirt*.
