Not trying to hijack the thread but I think submissions to this thread should be atleast this size to actually make it a possible wallpaper.

yes the size is limited. they are pictures, if you wanna use them as a desktop wallpaper, you can:
(vista) Right Click > Personalize > Desktop and Background >> Either center it, or stretch it, or tile it...

relax. i think he's just saying the resolution should be higher if the pics are to be actual desktop backgrounds without having to tile or center due to blurriness
