Acura Cop Car

Just kidding.

This is my winter setup. It just looks like a cop car or a stealth bomber.

Yo, that look isn't too bad on your car for some reason. I guess it's because your car is black. You're rockin' da f**k out of those steelie. Props to ya

I bought them from tirerack. It was like 225-250 for all four w/o tires. They don't carry steelies for the type-s since they come with 17s, so you just tell them you want the ones for a CL-P. Then I ordered Nokians through my mechanic and had those mounted.

I do look at my aviator. I've been running these for 3 winters now. It was alittle goofy at first, but it grows on ya. I bought these in the first place because I had the stock rims with high performance tires and wanted a cheap alternate for the winter. Now that I have some nice 18" summer rims, when I finally need new winter tires I will get them for the stockies instead of the steelies!

Plus thanks to everyone else for the props, not like I was going for a fashion statement or anything just thought the community would like to see our car on steelies. I don't think they would work too well on any other color though plus you need the drop too.

Do a search for steelies and steel wheels here... You'll find threads like this:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...t=steel+wheels

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=steelies

looks like you can get steelies only in 16 inch... off the odyssey...

You sould be able to find some TL/CL stock rims for cheap if you look around (the black market here, ebay, craigslist, etc).

Get a civic if you want to do that. what's wrong with the stock wheels?

I think you can pull it off, but it just cheapens the whole car, bringing it down to civic status.

Snowboards don't fit in a CL.

I like it. It would be cool if you had dark tinted windows, '03 door handles, grille, and blacked out the window trim.
