2003 Acura 6MT CL Type-S by the beach!
Finally took some shots out in Nahant, Ma down by the beach. I used my girls point & shoot. It was a nice day, and didn't think to bring mine out. They didn't come out all that bad.
by the way this is my first attempt posting pic's, so I might have to try again. Hopefully I got it right the first time.

Nice! Really like the A-Spec rims. I normally hate red, but love red on cl's for some reason.
I'm thinking about debadging my car. Can't convince myself to do it though....love that little typeS badge and think I will also miss ACURA across the back, but it looks SO CLEAN without it

Knowing this and knowing how valuable the extra rubber on the road is in a CL type S I had to go with Tein SS-P coilovers so I could run the 235's without rubbing.
Nightpoison is the 2nd person I convinced to buy that specific car (I almost pilaged his wood wheel out of it before he bought it but I decided to be nice). I talked it's former owner into buying it as well. I feel like when that car needs an owner, it's my job to find it a good one. I think he's doing a good job
When I say the car is my twin, here's why

a bit of safe negative camber could fix the rubbing
i'm sayin' though that the style of wheel should have belonged on the CL in the first place =p.
I guess the PERFECT fitment + that look would be the TSX a-spec wheels, but those come in 17" i believe?

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the props. She's a work in progress. There's a long list of goodies that I plan to add. Rotors, Suspension, and refinishing the rims are next.
I have the back de-badged except for the A and the Type-S. However I'm pulling that off as soon as I get the car back from the shop, and relocating it to a new location.
I do need to thank Black Label, for getting me hooked. He did influence me in picking the twin up.
TypeStylinOnU Thanks for posting those pics. how did you do it so the links didn't show, and the pictures just post.
Sean, I'll have my car back tomorrow. They needed to special order parts out of Cali. The intake runners, and my wheel bearings are being swapped out.

The car looks a little goofy lowered with 17" rims though. When Nightpoison got that car it had the stock rims with snows on it and they just don't fill the wheel wells nicely.
If you knew what we paid for those rims, you'd probably cry.

TypeStylinOnU Thanks, that just made posting pics a whole lot easier. That makes sense. I appreciate the tip.
Like Black Label said, 17" rims lowered are ok, but they just don't fill the wells that good. Of course during the winter thats what I use, just cause I have snow tires on them. It doesn't snow that often, but I'm glad to have the blizzaks on when it does snow.
18" I think is the right size, Some like the 19" or bigger, but it just doesn't look good to me. Plus I can't imagine what the ride would be like.

I do remember how excited you got after we took it for a whip and you were pulling back into the driveway saying "if they can get me out of the TL, this car is mine".

[QUOTE=black label]This is kinda like thanking a drug dealer for introducing you to crack.QUOTE]
oddly enough, you are not far from the truth. But, I was hooked after that first ride.
