Those rims might have looked better on a 300c.

I can tell you that just about everyone on this site will clown on your ride.

I think it looks bad a$$!!! Too bad it rubs, that is the only thing that would bug me. Everyone on here told me not to get 20's because the ride sucks and it would rub. My doesn't rub, and in my opinion the ride is fine. I didn't know they made 22s with that large of an offset. Can you find a way to stop the rubbing maybe get the tien ss, so you can lift it up a bit. I love the way it looks!!!!!

Yours looks great compared to the other people who throw 20's on their CL..Your setup is how 20's should be done on a CL

Just my ...but what I find interesting now is how everyone is supporting the idea of 20s on a CL now...Less than a year ago everyone was ragging on 20s, but because someone made 22s work decently, now 20s are acceptable...damn...funny how that works....

Props dude...I like them...But do take the stickers off...Clean is Mean

I have to laugh, people post pics of their rides and ask for opinions, when opinions are given the original poster becomes hostile.

Not a big fan of those rims dude..Sorry.

agreed. 98% will clown out of ignorance and stupidity.
this is what gets the original poster irritated.

i was shopping for rims 2 years ago, and EVERYONE said,
"dont go bigger than 19, it wont work"
so i bought 19s and i'm not satisfied.

lately, peep have been putting 20s and members ALWAYS say "ghetto" or "rice", but everyone has different taste. i much prefer spending $4000 on rims than any performance parts.

previous quote:
"For the money you spent on the rims you could of put a supercharger in there"
IMO, a s/c is a complete waste of money on a CL. you can only do so much to increase the speed of a tuna boat.

I mentioned putting on 21s about a month ago, and everyone thought i was NuTs...now we have living proof that 22s WILL fit.

How does the car driving like a tuna boat nessesitate 22" or 21" or 20" or even 19" wheels? Thats not going to make your car any less tuna boatesque. If your looking for a better ride, spend some money on some tein-ss and new sways.

If you want to spend your $4000 on rims thats cool, some people want to spend their $4000 on superchargers, thats why we live in the usa. Some people's priorities are in the asthetics of the vehicle and some are in the performance. To each his own.

it doesnt. it's still a tuna boat and i'm not trying to turn it into a race car...just trying to make it look nice and unique.

a S/C can only do so much...it's a FWD, which makes it even less practical. it's just hard for me to justify throwing down $20K in performance upgrades to a car that cant handle it. better off buying a $50K sports car.

i prefer aesthetics on my CL...it's a LUXURY coupe.
if it were a vette or a true sports car, then i'd go with performance.

OK, I'm kinda old and asked what I thought was a normal question based on the rarity of the size of your wheels for these cars. The last car with 22's actually looked just wrong but your's actually looks neat and well thought out. Maybe it's a eastcoast/westcoast thing but around here performance is king and the streets around here will fuck up 15 inch rims. The car someone owns doesn't mean that much if you can't drive it, my old, heavy 03 6sp has ran 350's well (on the open road).

Also was I the only one looking for a translator and a dictionary for his response, just what was he trying to say?

Nice "Mrs. Steve" thrown in there. God how original. Are you in 3rd grade still or is that when you dropped out of school? If you "don't even have to say shit to me" then why did you reply?

And

That's your ghetto wanna be black ass in your CL-S covered in stickers. Give me a fucking break. Make up your mind. You are either a ricer with stickers all over your car or you are a bling bling yo boy trying to pick up 17 year olds with your "rims."

Oh and FYI... you're rims are cheap as hell. Less than $400 a piece for 22" wheels? Give me a break. Much better to put quality forged 18" wheels (which will actually cost MORE than your 22"s).

hey steve thanks for identifying the pimp "RIMES" on that poor CL. i think i'll stick with the 18" or 19" rj inspyres or something else that keeps it looking classy when i actually can see myself spending a couple grand on rims. I'm not really down with the ghetto 22" style, maybe if i listen to some more ICP and chug some faygo, i'll see things differently; maybe even try to put some 24s on my CL. Or be completely different and raise it up a few feet and put some off road tires on it. That would be sweet. then i'd definitely be a

The rims look great on the car if you ask me. But there's no way in hell that I would put them on my ride. The first pothole that you fail to spot will cost you a bent rim(or two). Not worth it in my book.

Word of advice KILL4FAYGO, if you're gonna post pics of what you have done to your ride, you better have thick skin and be able to be take both the good and the negative comments that you get. If you can't do that, then you'd be better off just showing the car off to yourself and homies that have similiar tastes.
