No full exhaust? Try going with a cooler plug. And get it tuned, you'll def hit 300whp with that.

no engine management yet. i have an e-manage blue, but it's not hooked-up on the car yet.

it's a single pipe, single exhaust. i'm using a cold plugs already but i'll check that out when i install this:

"S2000 fuel injectors"

and this:

"HOPE Intercooler kit"

now if i don't get this shit to 300whp, i'll trade it in for a KIA!

It should be fine. I was just curious in general. I was talking to him via pm on the other site and he mentioned that he recently sold it.

other then the last email I got from them, I haven't heard anything. They state we should hear something by the end of the month. The TL isn't currently being driven. It's parked until my new motor/trans is installed. Hopefully within the next couple months.

UPDATE:

HOPE IC is in...S2000 injectors are in...Thermoblock spacer is in...Aeromotive FPR is in...custom High boost blower pulley is in...

...now problem.

i think the car is running too cold at idle the engine would bog but it doesn't die tho, i can still drive it, but with a new flywheel and clutch i need to take it easy for a couple of weeks for break-in period before i put it on dyno i'll be tuning with e-manage blue.

any suggestion or tip before dyno?

You are probably flooding it at idle with the bigger injectors.

hhmmm, i think that's what it is, coz at high speed, bogging goes away. i got less than 200 miles on my flywheel/clutch right now, is that good enough for break-in? i want to tune my car asap...

lol, i'm nice to it.

dang, sad we still haven't got any PP available. fuckin thieves stole my comptech flywheel and disk, i should be running with that already. i use to have 6 puck disk, but man, that thing was gone after less than a year, i think it's from clutch master dunno. The rivets on the disk ate my flywheel and PP, i have to replace them

I dunno if leaving the emanage out ehre in the open like that is such a good idea. that's just asking for it to get stolen.

oh yeah, and good luck on your tune.

i still think you should go a step colder plug, the one you are using now is what i used on my 3.2 n/a, now that im 3.5 one even colder to the 7 series, just letting you know. once you get it tuned your idle should be better, you may have to increase idle a bit. i don't see why you shouldnt make more than 300whp. good luck.

good news is we're able to tune the e-manage right, even with a problem on fuel delivery. The plugs are not cold enough, and they were kind to get all 6 of them replaced with a much colder ones.

bad news is there's a leak on my IC (manifold area), enough to have the power escape under boost. i have to get it weld and go back to dyno again maybe next week. the numbers are not too great cause i didn't gain anything due to that leak, i lost about 30whp/20wtq

the car runs great tho, no rough idle, no bogging feel, but on higher boost i can feel the car is surging. i'll be waiting for my fuel pressure gauge to arrive and get the IC weld up and probably make another bracket for the engine torque dampner.

i knew it. there's always a f*ck up

he sold that too and all his aftermarket parts. maybe he got the same problem with the IC and didn't find the problem that's why he decide to sell it? but, it can also be due to the install or shipping...

yeah but what in the intercooler made out of it? Really think that would have happened during the shipping process?

blusap--yeah it's pnp. make sure you specifically tell them it's for CL-S '03 w/ 6speed (if you have 6speed) cause they sent me a wrong one at first even i boldly told them it's for 6speed, they still sent me the one for auto , it delayed my tuning sched and have to make another sched. which is not easy to get.

blk2001tlon19s--not sure what's made of, but it's really not a big deal. i can have it weld and it will be fine again. also, the fact that it's been polished, that too probably damage the IC and made a crack during the polishing process.

i guess i'm immune on being pissed already

so many disappointments on this car. i guess i deserve it, cause that's the risk on modifying a car...

Habib could probably telling the truth. i can't jump on conclusion tho...
