Thumbs up SIRSIG's dyno... '03 CL-S 6spd. s/c with hbp

my runs was messed up, i forgot to tell the guy who did the runs to not used my Accord tach gauge which red line 6500RPM, so he didn't go passed beyond it.

oh well, i'll try to talk to them today to see if we can do it again and run upto 7200RPM this time.

here's the graph, sorry if it's too small dunno know how to enlarge it:

yeah, 251whp/234wtq. at 6300RPM. i could've gotten more if they kept going upto 7200RPM which is the peak HP for this kinda set-up.

you can see my whp and wtq starts to accend more but they stopped it on 6300rpm.

looks like you could probably hit 275whp @ 7200rpm. maybe acouple more whp with some tuning since your running so rich.

it worked out ok, but unichip had problems with timing and weren't able to control it. i would personally go with e-manage plus its easier to tune.

don't think he would hit over 300whp w/ the cl-s 6 speed speed running the comptech supercharger w/ hbp? I thought it would myself.

wow! that cooling mod really works. 300whp @ 6000rpm impressive. are you moving on with a new ride? why sell them? also, i wonder if i can use Unichip harness to E-manage?

I don't think you could use the unichip harness with the emanage. The emanage has an additional harness for the injectors and ignition along with the main harness.

unichip will not work with e-manage! the reason i'm selling is because i have no time to mod. it's tough being a full-time student and trying to open a business at the same time.

OK, just found out that i'm not running CL-S HBP, but actually the Accord HBP which is the same as the CL-S "regular" pulley ! ! ! also i change the TB because the initial one that the shop put were crappy and restrictive. they cut my Accord TB and connect it to the s/c elbow for Accords very cheap work shop name is 5150autosports, they are close BTW.

got the right one this time. anodized black, very light, and test drove it, and mannnn what a difference! i can feel the car boosting much better now, but i dont want to risk it. I'm not driving the car until i hook-up my e-manage and get some tuning...

so i need your help:
where i can bring the car for fine tuning?
how to proper tune it?

Not sure where you can take it in Cali but talk to Serge(02av6) and see if he has any maps from when he was running the blue emanage to get you pointed in the right direction. Good luck.

nice to see you found the problem. i hope you find a good place to tune since there are many shops that claim they know how to tune e-manage but really lack the knowledge to tune a j-series engine. what happen to your ESM?

i thought the numbers seemed a bit low, you should put down at least 285 next time. with a good tune, 300 is possible.

ESM still connected. does it need to go with the e-manage, i mean taken out? ESM is also weird because right now i'm running with 2.39V on it, is that dangerous? i know it should be around 2.94V or something...

hope to hit the dyno soon. and hope for the best...

SoCal! i need your help! i need a reputable dyno shop that can tune e-manage. SPengineering was asking for $250/hour. it can go upto 6 hours they said that's $1500.

i'm gonna literally need to eat once a day with that deal so, it's a no....lol

Yeah, why don't you PM 02AV6 and kindly ask or pay him like $25 for his first tuned map and have the shop (when you find) to load it on the main unit and and finish your own tuning. You can save time, thus $$$$ instead paying the shop to start from scratch.

Pay them to hook it up and finalyze tuning. And 2.7v "boost cut" is fine on e-manage, seems everybody running it incl. 6MT.

Dynamic Autosport in Lake Forest can tune E-manage. Give them a call. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but when i get my s/c i'll definately be looking for a place too. SPengineering prices high, but i doubt they'll go up to 6 hours to tune your car.

otherwise, that'd be ridiculous.

SPengineering is an awesome shop. And I've had my car tuned at Rage over in Montclair, no complaints over here. I originally wnated my car tuned at SPengineering once my swap was done, but at those prices, I might have to think twice. I believe I paid $125/hour with Rage about 2 years back.

car runs great tho but, i want it to be safe i think i'm running 100psi on my FPR i heard that's dangerous. i dont wanna blow my engine...
Get with serge and maybe he has a map for you. He is running the 3.2 with dr evil. He may be able to save you some dyno time. Also you can get the calibration washer (2.720") and the calibration ring (3.0'') for 30 bucks and knock your WOT to 85 psi. Talk to serge first cause he has run a lot of different setups.

NEW DYNO

still not tuned...

287.58whp/255.48wtq didn't even make it to 300whp.

avg. temp --------- was 92F degrees
avg. humidity ----- was 10%

4 runs. IMRC disconnected.
the first 2 run has 2mins intervals, then rested and sprayed the engine with water after 10mins. i guess they didn't go upto 7200RPM?
