HBP with EManage

Just got back from Shad Huntley's place. He installed and tuned my EManage so I could use 91 octane fuel safely. I'm pretty pleased with the results too.
- 319.7 whp
- 279.9 lb/ft

I had a ton of detonation prior to the tune. No change to the FPR. It was 99 degrees coming home and I was amazed at how hard this thing pulls.

Very nice Jeff. Love the 280 LBS of torque too. You do realize that you're making well over a 100 HP/TQ more over stock. But wasn't it just under 100 F in Gold River today? So if the outside temp was a bit cooler (high 60's-low 70's), you'd probably see a bit more HP/TQ.

Nice numbers. Very interesting torque curve. Not linear at all. So these numbers were at the hub?

25/35 more than my untuned automatic on 93 octane made. Good deal

I miss the blower on my 6-speed.

yes - direct off the hub. The torque curve isn't what I'm used to seeing either.

You gotta get another blower Steve. You could always cut a deal with ThinJim. I know you would appreciate that kit

Yeah - I wonder what a dyno would look like in cooler weather. Maybe we could get Shad to host an open house for the Norcal crew in the fall?

Probably selling the car by the end of the year to start fresh with a better platform.

Since you're in FL, it's the only way to go.

I was comparing your dyno chart with mine (see linky) and noticed that the Y-axis for RPM on your's was in much finer resolution as compared to mine. I think if you plotted your TQ on my chart, our TQ curves might look similar; meaning your's would look flatter.

nice numbers. how do they compare to stock numbers on this dyno?

my trq graph is different than yours since my vtec engages at 3k rpms and my trq jumps at 3k all the way to 5k then levels off...

Makes me wish I tuned my motor before it blew... but just off your numbers, I'm very hopeful for my upcoming project.

Was this the Blue Unit or Ultimate?

like others have said i think the torque curve looks so funky because the graph is so narrow. if it were spread out over a wider area it would appear flater

I think you and NSX-Tuner are right. Replotted in a similar scale to others would look flatter.

I can't comment on what a stock TL does on this dyno but I do feel this dyno is consistent with other dyno's I've been on. I don't think they're overstated at all and the equiment is fairly new. Other dyno's done on this machine also yielded consistent results as expected for the mods.

K6biv and SCUC both had dyno's done on this machine and I believe their numbers are all in the expected range.

Those things have tremendous potential. AWD would definitely help in your neck of the woods.

got rid of it. wasn't very practical with the rain and all here in the NW. staying with the CL-S, for some reason i can't get rid of it. maybe it's because its so nice to drive on a daily basis. i might starting modding this one soon.

Boomslang makes a PnP harness for ours - EManage blue or Ultimate. It's very nicely built.

Those are some damn good numbers! Congrats. I gotta call Shad up to see if I can do a follow up to my dyno now that the imrc is fixed. Do you know how much he charges for 3-pulls, no tuning?

Smitty had one of the cleanest CL's around. That would have been a killer deal.

Do you remember what he dynoed at?
