I have to say that I am not as familiar with Zaino Bros. as we are with other companies, however

Where is a good, reliable online source for the non-Zaino stuff?
I cannot find the Armor-All product mentioned here or the S100 or P21S in any auto store or retail place around here.
AND: What do you guys use to apply the various waxes anyway (to avoid swirls and scratches)?

There is a lot of misinformation in the posts above. I've used several highly recommended waxes--expecially those that rated well in Guru Reports, and have always gone back to Zaino.
The main advantage to Zaino (and synthetics in general) is its unbeatable durability. An outstanding carnuba (P21S) starts to tail off in about 6 weeks of normal exposure. Zaino goes strong for anywhere from 4 to 6 months.
I did a Zaino detail on my car last October and given the cold weather, have washed it weekly at a car wash (which I never do in the summer. BTW, don't let a car wash dry your car--they leave lots of swirl marks in the paint from dirty towels). As of today, the Zaino is still going strong and leaves nice tall water droplets about a quarter inch in diameter when it rains. (As a wax degrades, the droplets get larger.)
However, more important than which wax you use is how you prep the car--claying, polishing, glazing, etc. The better the prep, the better the look regardless of which wax you use.
In the end, longevity is the primary issue around the choice of wax.
The best way to find out about various synthetic and carnuba waxes is to check out the BMW Detailing forum at:
http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/detailing/
It happens to be an especially robust board. You don't need a BMW to surf there, It is regularly responded to by the author of Guru Reports and other professional detailers.

And whoever said Zaino doesn't have depth, then obviously you haven't tried it.
My car's SSM. Silver looks clean when dirty. It looks clean when clean. That's just the way silver is. Or so they had me believe.
Then I tried Zaino, and I noticed a ton of difference between that and the ordinary "wax" I had been using.
Nothing else will ever touch my cars (now and in the future) except Zaino. It's the shit.

That other guy that chimed in with 16 total posts holds a ton of weight....
i JUST bought Zaino so I'll chime in 3 months. I promised Bulldog01 that I'd share. No wy I can polish in this cold.

Well I received and used the Zaino... and I must admit it seems to do a great job. I used it on my SOs Cavalier and she said her car was the only one that, after a rain storm, looked like it was never rained on. She couldn't understand why I would order and spend so much on wax/polish until she saw the results. Now I will have to see how long it lasts.
Question: I got some microfiber towels from that YoSteve site. What is the consensus on these? I notice they are not cotton so do they leave scratches or what? I used them on my SOs car but it already had swirls.

Has any one used Liquid Glass? Is it any good?

I went to the Zaino website and looked at their products. After reading your posts for a long time, I have decided to make the switch. However, there are so many different products that Zaino offers. What do you all use?
ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive
Z-1 Show Car Polish Lok
Z-2 Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes
Z-3 Show Car Polish for Regular Paint
Z-5 Show Car Polish for Swirl Marks and Fine Scratches
Z-6 Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray
Or would I be better of getting the big value pack?

I know the best looking car I've ever seen was a Griot's user. Then again, this is car that is really taken care of well. And is done with an orbital. Using an orbital make s a huge difference, and having the right wax for an orbital matters. And like someone already said, preparation in the most important part of detailing.
As far as Zaino goes it's very easy to apply. I'm just more of a wax guy.
