I had a mustang(93 Cobra)..............I've got a couple of things to cay to Mustang owners.........How does it feel to spend 26K on a new GT and have be worth 15K the next year. Camaros and TAs will always smoke you.........If you mod the hell out of it, the bottom end will blow out for sure. The new Cobras do a whopping 13.8 1/4 mile......Wow for the 30K I spent, I've got some nice options that mustang guy can dream about. The only good mustangs out there are Pro 5.0, Super Street Outlaw, and EFI Renegade. Otherwise stock stangs aren't fast and they handle like crap.........Shut up and buy a SALEEN, then you can BRAG!!!!!!!!! Get ready for a $56K dent in your wallet.

No doubt a CL-S with some mods can give a new GT a run for it's money if driven right.
I end up shooting in all directions when a Stanger comes around here stirring the pot.
I don't feel bad about any potshots thrown at those stangers who come on here being assclowns.

It's sorta off the topic of this thread but did you see the Motor Trend info on the new 2003+ Cobra's? They claim it'll be 395hp 6-speed going for around 40K.... Looks like they want to use the Cobra's as competition for the 'Vettes.

It was obviously all talk as as soon as he was called out on tracks he would give time that the track wasn't open or was about to close. And then when the time was corrected, he never responded.

the test 'n tune on sunday was pretty much a bust anyway due to track problems. I left after 2.5 hours without making a single pass. pull_t said the mustang guys finally got 2 passes in before the track closed for the day.
apparently a water main broke and there was water on the track at the timing lights. not really a problem for us street guys, but some of the faster cars on slicks would have had their hands full.
them's the breaks, I guess.
(at least the superbowl was interesting...)
