xpel vs stongard

In the search for the best "clear" bra, I have come accross 2 companies...

I'm only looking for the bumper kit for my CL, the Xpel and stongard bumper films seem identical....what do you guys think? The Stonegard is sopposed to be better? (but more expensive). Check out the links below.

stongard: ($276.72):

Xpel: ($199.95):

Here is the name of the 3rd vendor -- he will send you a sample of the material:

http://www.clearmask.com/

He also has a video tape on doing it yourself.

--> I think the material is the same stuff, just different patterns. See below:

There is yet one other guy selling this stuff. I need to get the sample films he sent me. (At least I think so, I thought there are 3 of them out there -- but its late and I'm tired.)

The owner of the company I talked to said, "All of the products use the same 3M material". It is a polyurethane type of material that is very tough. He said it actually had a clear coat on it.

So, they products (according to him) are basically the same, but they differ in price, who puts it on, and the pattern for each car.

So, I can't tell wish is best, but they all work the same way -- at least that was what I was told. I would figure he would have pushed his product with a "we have a special version that has a modified this or that, if there was really something separating the "material properties".

It looks like good stuff -- I'm thinking of getting some for the front bumper.

He told me that someone who was good with their hands, could do some of the easier sections (like the hood). He said the mirrors were tough, cause you have to stretch the material.
