Xlr8 street strip
installed xlr8 street strip with aasco flywheel 5-11-19 just curious about where clutch engagement point should be. Mine seems a little high 1/2 way'ish? Maybe other with same setup can chime in? Have 250miles on it so far and feels good just curious about the grab point?

I'd recommend reaching out to XLR8. They have great customer service and would be the best to tell you what you should be experiencing with their product.

Maybe he will chime in and indicate where his 'clutch engagement point' is.

The only other person, I know of on the CL side, running the xlr8 set-up is @2ndgentl . He has the xlr8 'Stage 1 Daily' installed on his J35A3 CLS6.

Hey, sorry for the late response... I've had my "xlr8 Stage 1 Daily" now for at least 1 1/2 yrs and still holding up really good. The clutch engagement is almost 3/4 of the way up my clutch pedal, which is perfectly normal to me since I've gone through a few different clutch kits throughout the past and they have all had about the same engagement. I honestly would like it if it would engage about 1/2 way up the clutch throw, but I guess I'm used to it being this way now over the years of driving this car. It does seem that every other manual car that I have owned or drove had a lot shorter clutch engagement. I don't think there is a way to adjust the clutch throw on the CL, right??

2ndgentl has a similar set-up as yours with the 3.7 mani and 76mm TB with a J35A3; however, he still has to install his CT blower and get tuned.

Just an FYI.
Not sure as to if you are tuned; however, now the AEM 30-6051 standalone EMS can be mated to the CLS6 with a plug n play harness from Boomsalng. AEM 30-6051 to 2001-2003 Acura CL MT:
OR, if you have the skillsets and can source the connector ends, you can make one yourself with the pinout schematic above.

Tell me about it. AEM 6051 is roughly $1350 and the Boomslang harness is $400.
Best way to go, if possible, is to find a used AEM 6051 and save big $$.
Forgot to mention in my post above, if you go the AEM 6051 route, you would have to crack the box open and change the JPT1 (crank) and JPT2 (cam) sensors from MAG to HALL:
This first pic is how it originally comes, pay close attention to JPT2 and JPT1:
The plastic sleeves are jumpers which slide right off, and there are 3 pins. On the circuit board is a "1" stamped next to those pins. The pin closest to the "1" is considered #1 pin, then #2 is the middle pin, then #3 follows to the left. So "MAG" are pins
2-3 while "HALL" is 1-2.
So here is how JPT1 and JPT2 should look like after being set for "HALL" sensors.
