XLR8 Custom Aluminum Radiators

Hey guys, sorry I slacked on not getting this up quicker but here is the finished product and info.

- Good up to 450 HP
- Almost double the cooling capacity of the OE radiator
- 100% Hand-built in the USA
- Hand TIG welded
- 100% aluminum
- 2 year warranty against manufacturer defects
- Adds to the aesthetic value of the engine bay

The stock radiator on the 2nd gen CL/TL's have top and bottom plastic tanks that are 1" thick and the core is only .75" thick.

Our radiators have aluminum top and bottom tanks that are 2.25" thick with one row of 1.5" tubes, doubling the stock setup. The radiator is hand TIG welded and the tube to header joint is further supported by being furnace brazed with epoxy (inside and out) to help absorb viabrations and stress. This will help ensure the longevity of the radiator and virtually double its life. Also our radiators have the option of either having a regular style straight spout or an upper spout with a 90 degree angle to accomodate blower (supercharger) clearance.

Our radiators are designed to work with the OEM fans. For vehicles with superchargers, there may be some trimming of the fan shrouds. These radiators ar twice as thick so it is possible that there might be some trimming involved, but only with the fan shrouds. We have tested the 90 degree spouts on a 00 Acura TL-P and it cleared fine, as you can see above, with the blower. It should clear fine with the TL-S, CL-S blower setups also but we will need to test fit one to be sure.

this is such a quality piece, it is much more impressive in person. replace those plastic end tanks with crimped seals for a full aluminum and welds.

Not bad considering the price of all aluminum koyo and mugen radiators are usually $1,000+. i feel the quality is on par with those.

Good luck buying from this company, griffin radiators. I ordered one last year. When I got it, it did not fit right. I removed oem radiator for nothing. Then they tell me they want me to take measurents so they can fix it. Next they say the measurements aren't good enough we will need an actual oem radiator to use for measurement. I buy a generic radiator and mail it to them. Then they tell me sorry but it would be too much work to fix. We would have to start over and charge you twice. I said no. They refused to send me back either radiator I payed for. The one I bought from them plus the generic one I bought and payed shipping for also.

In the end excelerate partially refunded me so I lost some of that money. Money from other radiator plus shipping was lost, money for coolant from removing radiator 3 times plus all my wasted time. It was the worst car part buying experience I have ever dealt with.

You can order one if you want but I doubt excelerate wants to deal with that company again. He told me he was done.
