I just got off the phone with Xephyr and he said he had an emergency and that is why we haven't heard from him. He will be getting back with me in the next 30 minutes or so with my tracking number so I assume the rest of you guys will also be hearing from him in the near future.

I talk to him for all of maybe 60 seconds. All he said is he had an emergency and that I should call him in 30 minutes to get the tracking number. About 15 minutes later I got an e-mail from UPS with the tracking number so I didn't bother calling him back. I am sure he will at some point in time come on the forum and let us know how he is doing. Either way at least now I know my CAI is on its way. I just hope that the product is not as flaky as this deal that went down.

I checked my email this morning and got my tracking number from UPS. Sweet! Due for delivery on Friday 02/16. Can't wait.

And I didn't ask him for the tracking number, he just automatically sent it to me. I guess Webtoker was asking him for one though. Either way, you should probably have one by now.

I'm starting to get concerned as well. I ordered it while I was on the phone with him about 10 days ago. Was told it would arrive within 5. I understand some of ya'll have been waiting considerably longer than me, too!

Emergency or no emergency. One can't run a business when you're causing your customers to start feeling like they're getting scammed. I'm sure thats not the situation, but businesses need to keep us customers informed. Else... we jump to conclusions.

Well I decided to make this easy. I used my Amex to purchase the CAI. As you all know Amex is awesome about disputing charges. They said they will take the charge off and they will be contacting Mr. Koncur. Well now its time for me to find a CAI in which I can use for my TypeS. I think I may get the AEM one for the TL and cut it.

Comment -- the AMEX card is fantastic when it comes to fixing disputes. I have used it many times and highly recommend it to web shoppers.

Call visa and tell them you would like to dispute the charge. They will ask you questions about the charge and give xephyr
10 days to reply. If he can't prove that he delivered the product to you, they remove the charge.

In certain instances where you just recently paypal-ed someone, you can cancel the transaction IF the recepient hasn't accepted your payment. But that may not be the case here.

I agree with the above about American Express. The Blue is great, even has price protection for 60 days on top of nice customer service

For the people that did use paypal and are trying to get a refund, I suggest that you NOT go through paypal for the refund. It took my girlfriend over 2 months to get a return of 615.00 from a jerk off ebay that was running a scam. He kept saying that he sent a refund check, and finally after paypal started to get to work on the case, they found out that he really did not send it and locked his account. He is now using Billpoint

Go through the credit card co. as that would most likely be a little quicker. Then email paypal after you get the refund about this transaction to get his account banned if it has to go that far. I really trusted his word and stuff, even though I didn't but one...just think that he would pull through. Maybe just got in over his head.

It's still in greensboro and rescheduled for monday, 2/19.

Looking at the manifest, the box wasn't scanned til the 15th. So, two day shipping is monday, 2/19 (not counting the weekend).

And yes, they're running on President's day!!
