WTF is up with the Cl-S electrical stuff

I have had my 03 cls for like a year and a half, and I just got a brake light lamp notice in one of the gauges, meaning one of my brake lights are out, and my drivers side front headlight sometimes turns on when I turn the car on, and sometimes wont. If it wont, I just turn the lights on, and then it comes back. What is up with that?

Count me in for the intermittant headlight thing also. On a few ocaasions it has gone out then if you turn the lights off then on again it omes back to life. I know this has beed threaded here on the bord before Im sure of it just do a quick search it should come up.

the brake light is probably due to low fluid... happened to me as well. I had both headlight bulbs and ballasts replaced ($1800) under warranty

The only electrical problem I've come across were the useless foglights.

Electrical problems - sometimes the programmed seat doesn't move to its position, the seat back won't move at all. But 2 minutes later, it's fine. One mirror doesn't tilt downward when I shift into reverse. Oh, and here's the best one - the digital display (odometer, etc.) just goes dark for a few seconds, then turns back on. Guess it's time for a warranty visit!

The hid ballasts are somewhat common for this on CL's and TL's. Not too common for everyone to get worried about it but whenever I see this problem at work it's almost always the ballast. Take it to the dealer for that...shit they'll even replace ur broken brake light bulb under warranty...and top off ur brake light fluid
