WTF... Cup Holders
I have two questions...
What is that little black thing in the cup holder? Everytime I put a drink in it, it sticks to the can/cup when I lift it out... I almost lost it when I got out of my car with my drink in my hand, and it fell on the ground...
Second, Why does the bottom of the cup holder come out, and why does it pass through to the center console?
Thanks...

I have never had mine come out without me actually forcing it out. Yours sounds like its really loose or something. I use the pass thru for anything I plug into the 12v like my cell phone. It looks less cluttered to charge it from there.

Answer to question 1: That insert is supposed to be there to fit smaller cups, I just took it out because smaller cups will work fine without and it stuck to the bottom of all my cups too
Answer to question 2: The cup holder bottom comes out so you can clean it easily in your sink when it gets dirty, also the hole is a passthrough for cords that are plugged into the auxilary outlet inside the armrest (for example: a cell phone charger cord). I use it to charge my ipod and feel it is a very well thought out design.

I also noticed a small notch that i use for my wires. This is in the between the upper tray and the lower compartment...
I worry about my stuff in the console that may get wet due to the pass through.
Thanks guys!!!
