you could take jake's favorite toy and clog up the toilet and let it overflow and overflow. when his mom finds out how much damaged is caused by that act, she will understand (hopefully) and whip his ass and teach him a lesson about respecting property and there are consequences to bad actions.

All desirable resolutions aside, I would have a serious talk with the kid, and tell him that he'll be in serious trouble next time he does something like this; and that he must confess to his mom what he did to your car. If he still doesn't listen, then I would proceed with an ass-kicking.

Well lets move on from Jake and get your problem solved.

I can only tell you this, i've used this stuff on about 3 cars in the last 4years, and it has not failed me yet, for $13.99, you can probably take the sting out of those scratchs, and maybe more.

Go down to your local Auto shop and get 3M Perfect-it II

It safely and effectively removes scratches, contains no wax or silicone. Clear coat safe.

I'd love to see before and after pics if you decide to buy it.

All i have used is a soft towel and apply a small amount on to the towel and start rubbing clockwise where you need to use it.

On the CL Paint it works wonders, i bet you won't regret it.

 

if all else fails...you could always try taking it to a professional detailer...see how much good that does. i had a few key marks and tried everything and then took it to a professional detailer and he got most of them out. was very pleased

 

Man, since it is family, this problem should have been solved the second you saw it. Your aunt should have begged for forgiveness and given you a blank check. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like she is too hard up for cash. Go after her to fix it-especially since she is family.

Just an example for you. My brother in law took my car to the gym cause it was the last in at night and was blocking his car in the driveway. Anyways, he was having fun, hit some sand in a corner, and ended up curbing the rim pretty bad. Even before getting home, he had a new rim on order.

 

thanx for all the feedback ladies and gents. well to my suprise i woke up this morning to my girlfriend saying LAURA is calling (my aunt) i replied DONT ANSWER! she leaves a 5 min message to sum it all up ..... "me(LAURA) and jake talked about your car and he denied it, later he took a shower and then came downstairs before bed and BUSTED out in tears, he didnt know why he did it but that he was vary sorry and wish he hadnt." well i havnt called my aunt back but she also said she is willing to pay for any damages to my car, she also said jake is going to call me today and apologize. well i dont know what to do but i will prolly let it slide .... (if i can get the scratches out)

That's fine if everything comes out OK with the paint but you should keep an eye on that kid and don't give him another opportunity. I had a friend's kid smile at me and throw a frisbee right at my car. I screamed at the little fucker and told my buddy what he did right in front of him. They got him to apologize too but a few weeks later at a party at another friend's house the kid was playing ball right in front of my car again but I had the hood up so the ball wouldn't be able to do much. He looked pretty frustrated. Don't buy in to all that "He's so sorry and he'll never do it again BS" He'll do it again as soon as he gets a chance.

 

 

in this kind of situation, since its family, make her pay half. Dont think that other family members wont make you pay for any damage you do. Also, this little kid is a fucker at best. Looks like he picked up a few stones and destroyed a few cars.

 

I would definately be upset about the car, but be equally upset that jake is getting off with nothing more than "I'm sorry." I'd need some kind of justice before I'd be content with the situation. Make the kid pull weeds or something...
