Would at least 9 people be intrested in..

buying a oem style carbon fiber hood?.. i am getting it from my friends cousin shop.. they have a website (not complete) at http://area51fab.com/ I am definately gettin my hood from them.. but if any of you are intrested maybe i can get you a better price.. so how about a group buy? serious people only.. please.. their shop in in irvine california. he also owns http://www.climaxracing.com/ which they just bought out.. so in the meantime their site is down.. however they are a supercharger company, so ahem* got any ideas? heh im also going to ask him about a sc for our car..

I'm not interested in the CFH but would be interested to know if they can harden our tranny for us? Or if they know a shop that would be willing to do the tranny work? I called Art Carr today and they're offering a torque converter for $350 if anyone is interested. Hopefully this won't hijack your thread

area51 is owned by your cousin's friend?? oh shit i was thinking about having some work done there because they said they could fabricate a custom supercharger for me. my friend with a GS300 had lots done at area51.

you can count me in on the CF hood

Can you start a new thread about this TC? I'd like some details. Considering to do the 3.5 L upgrade.

haha nice try tho chris.. tc will give our car extra power.. which will put more stress on the tranny.. TC is the part that conects the engine to the tranny.. u would need a built tranny actually.. the 3.5 liter upgrades would also put more stress on our ever so weak tranny's.. thus the need for a built tranny =)

So, that means I would need to rebuild the entire tranny...and not just the TC? What's the cost for that?

If I didn't live on the opposite side of the USA, I'd be interested in the CFH. I don't really want to deal with the ills of shipping something that large and important.

ps - why did you link us to a thread at is300 forums where they complain about shitty service from area51?

me and a few others are pushing levelten to send autocarparts some of the tc's...assuming that people have shops that are capable of doing the work around their area...anyone else who is interested send levelten a short email concerning your interest in have a torque converter sent to you.
