Should be OK
Depends on the tire size though.

I am using 17x8 with a 50 offset
235/45/17

Anybody know the correct offset for an 18x8 rim?

235/45/18? or is 235/40/18 closer to stock wheel diameter?

+50 - +52 (HRE recommended the +52)

I personally feel +48 is ideal for an 8" wide rim.

Maybe not fitment wise... but when it comes to looks... i would sacrifice the occasional rub.
