Wiper Blades?
anyone have any suggestion on wiper blades?
i heard some about the teflon blades you can get at costco,
some say it's worth it some say no... but i don't want to spend that extra money (even if it's not much more) if it's gonna suck and smear
thanx

First of all, if you have a 2001 CL then please be aware that Acura has posted a service bulletin regarding the "wiper blade" system.
Apparently the tube that delivers the windshield washer fluid from the resevoir to the spray jets is disintegrating and thus depositing pieces of the tubing onto the windshield. This then makes the wiper blades smear. Therefore, I would call your local dealer and tell them that your wiper blades are smearing and ask about the service bulletin from Acura.
They should at least replace the tubing and your wiper blades under warranty - at least you will get a new set of wiper blades out of it and hopefully minimize smearing in the future.
Soon after I bought my CL I noticed that the wiper blades did not work very well. The other day I was at the dealer for routine service and was going to buy a new set of wiper blades but was then made aware of the service bulletin. It was nice to find out that there might be a better reason for the smearing other than "they smear because it is an inferior design and nothing can be done about it".

I had my vehicle into the dealership this morning and the receipt says that they replaced the fluid hose, a couple of clips and both wiper blades.
FYI, the receipt also had the following item on it: "742102 REPLACE WINDSHIELD WASHER TUBING AND BLADES ON 3.2CL AND/OR 3.2TL". However, it does not state what years are affected.

I dropped my car at the dealer for my 15K service, and they dont me that my wipers need to be changed (i knew that), so I told them change it, I was charged $30 for them, and I dont even know what the hell they put in there.
I guess I feel stupid now.

By not knowing the years I was speaking of whether it was '01 and '02 but I did not specific that in my original post.
