Probably. I like Honda/Acura and I really don't need to drift down a freeway interchange ramp or do doughnuts in a parking lot. I don't push my car to the edge so FWD/RWD doesn't really matter much.

FWD= Heavy front not well balanced. Next time, RS6 or S60R AWD, 50/50 wieght dsitribution, Brembo Brakes and some 300+ HP engine!.

My CLS 6spd is my first "real" fwd car. I had a fwd 84 cutlass ciera station wagon (back in the day) for about a year, but I don't count that

Other then those, I've only driven rwd. I've driven since 1983 and have owned about 17 cars or so.

I'll probably keep the CLS for about 3-4 years, and then I'll probably buy another rwd car. Even with the New England winters

i don't know what it is, but going around corners in my cl-s i don't have that gut feeling of how much too much is. i think with my rwd cars from the past its a lot easier to judge.

I dunno after see the new TL its hard not to like it even though its FWD. It has the more of what I want from a car then other cars in its price segment.

But if I bought a car purely for driving pleasure rather then creature comforts, it would definately by RWD or AWD.

I just got a G-35 Sedan. Love em both. Prefer the RWD, but that's not all there is to a car.

If i am still going to school here in Mi, i'll probably get a WRX or something else 4WD and mildly quick. But for now the CL-S stays

RWD for me. its pure sport driving experience.
in fact, i like the FWD layout if we could somehow get rid of wheelspin/hop. in corners, you can pull out stronger than RWD. awd is better than both but it loses some power along the way. plus there isnt much high hp awd cars available, even when you pay a bunch!
acura will bring an AWD soon, they will for sure and when it does come it will rock

Since i'm moving back to florida one of these days and won't have to worry about the freakin snow or terrible winters of the north east, i'm going RWD for sure. Its definitely RWD or AWD, just not sure what i'll look for cause its not going to be for a while, so when it gets closer i'll start shoppin

If I stay in TX I won't really need AWD, so I'll probably go RWD next.

Yep, that's what kills fwd for me. Wheelhop sucks.

I've also noticed that if I'm pushing it and I hit an expansion joint in the road, I'd have better have a firm grip on the wheel or I'll be in trouble.

I drive my cars pretty hard, but if I drove like a grandpa, then fwd would be ok. I don't so rwd seems to be a better compromise for me.

Depends where I'm living. If I move to Carolina or Georgia, like I really, really, really want to, then I'll probably look for RWD. If I stay in the Northeast, then I'll probably look for AWD.

Not that i think FWD is all that bad, however after driving my cousins bimmer you really can tell the difference. I'll be looking for RWD next time.

Everyday driving: I'm moving towrds RWD or AWD. Got the S2K, when I'm ready to part with the CL, I'm getting a truck so I can tow my toys.

Drag strip / Toy Car: I'm staying with my all motor B16 FWD. Cheaper to upkeep.

never say never...but I am definitely gonna consider both RWD and AWD a hellavalot more! The cars I really like today are mostly RWD/AWD (e55, m5, rs6, s4, g35c, gs4, 540...and the TLS)

RWD for sure, unless the need of AWD.

Honda needs to start pushing these drivetrains on the upscale Acura market as it does with the S2000.

I really like a car with the whole package: value, performance, interior, exterior and reliable. With mods, the TL-S is sitting at about $35k invested. With the s/c, about $40k. Yeah, I'll get some wheel-hop from a stop, but from 30mph+ is what I care about most. It handles as good as I will ever need it to. It is sporting around mountain roads and fun to drive. I really have gotten used to the FWD platform and though limited, is fun and safe. I won't ever own a stick again as traffic annoys me incessantly.

Will I look at the G35, S4--yup. But the Infinity doesn't have better quality than Acura, is moer expensive and the interior sucks. The S4 is a bit pricey, and service/reliability are a major concern after a few bolt-ons are added. But I won't limit myself to AWD or RWD just to say I have it or because it is a true performance advantage. I think the modded TL/CL-S is perfectly fun 99% of the time...
