will icebox help 0-60 times?

Looking to increase 0-60 times, which is about all I can get to in between traffic lights. So I ruled out headers as having any effect.

Will the icebox help at all, and if so what would be the estimate??

Why are you ruling out headers? Both the icebox and the headers will increase horsepower when you are in the VTEC range. Keep the car in low gears (gate shift 1-2, or sportshift, or just stomp on it!!!) and you will totally improve 0-60 times with either headers OR icebox.

but 0-60 you are not in header territory for very long, just at the end of 1st, as partly into 2nd you are already at 60.
what is the effective rpm range for the ice box? if its mid range then won't I get to use it twice, in both 1st and 2nd?

I am looking at possible just getting one of the mods, either headers or icebox. Want to keep ahead of the accords for a year or two. I can't see putting alot of money in a discontinued 3 year old car, mostly saving up for its replacement now.

Hard to say which is better for up to 60mph. I would guess headers only because the gains are greater (20-30hp at the wheels vs. 10hp at the wheels with the intake)...I never tested my car in a timed 0-60 after either the headers or the headers+intake. I do hear what you are saying about not making full use of the headers or the intake in a 0-60 dash. I prefer the feel of it getting on the highway when it is more of a 35-80mph dash. I still say, even 0-60 if you keep it in first by gateshifting then you should have a fair amount of time in VTEC.

headers will definately help your 0-60.

people who say they don't, are the people who don't have them.

Yep

Fair estimate is probably .2 to .4 secs off the 60 with Both H/I

If you would only choose one, would it be headers or the ice box to increase low-mid end?

headers will have a bigger impact over ice box. Low end gains should be greater with the ice box but don't eliminate headers.

Without a doubt CAI, quality ones, will help 0-60 times.

Based on track experiences and the published dyno results, the CAI/Icebox produced gains sooner than headers, but headers produce a greater peak gain.

So my money is on CAI/Icebox for 0-60 runs, but in the 1/4 miles it's a toss up. For topend acceleration headers are the winner.

NOTE:
Before most of the guys in our group had more than one mod, guys with just CAIs were beating guys with just headers. However, the guys with headers were gaining on them on the big end.

The best overall effect it to have both.

with headers/CAI... zipping from 75 to 100 is AMAZING!... Pull all the way to redline with no hesitation...
