Why sportshift if it won't let ME shift?
Hey guys....I'm still learning the ropes of my 2001 CL (The damn dealer still hasn't sent me my book yet).
I understand that the sportshift system will not let you over-rev the engine, but I have noticed that my car shifts EXTREMELY quickly from 1st to 2cd, not giving me time to even THINK about shifting. It shifts around 2000 rpm I guess. Does anyone else experience this? or am I just being ignorant because I haven't read my book yet?
Thanks guys.

In addition, you'll notice that if you're in a gear, say 4th, then stop at a light, it will downshift to 1 automatically as you come to a stop.
You have to remember that it's a sportshift automatic, so it's still an automatic.
