Why does the CL have such a bad resale value??

Most 5 year old cars retain 50% of there value...
When I bought my 6spd in 2002, I looked at edmunds and it said the Acura CL should retail 52% of it's value after 5 years. I bought mine for 29.4K (non-navi) and it's probably worth 14K in a private sale which isn't that far off from the estimate from 5 years ago...
The automatic transmission issues, the fact that the CL is a coupe, and it was discontinued back in 2003, aren't good factors for high resale value, but the CL has been pretty good.
An average 03 will probably be in the 14-17 price range with the 01's probably in the 9-12K range.

I have been looking for another one since and have not found ond with the same features (nav). I found that most (without nav)were being offerred for around 15K. Since I have not bought a used car for more that 30 years I am not aware of the used car prices. Os 50 per-cent of new price on a six year old car with 80 to 100K miles bad? I am still looking for a CL with nav so if anyone knows of one please let me know.

Not totally set on selling it, but just curious what this car would be worth to people...
It's not like you're selling a Z06. $13,500 tops.

The fact that it is a big coupe is probably the Cl's biggest resale flaw. It take a unique person who will give up almost all praticality for style.
