Why did you choose the CL over the RSX?
#5
RSX wan't available when i bought the CLS either, but after getting the RSX for 4 days as a loaner, I would say it's the little things that makes the CLS more enjoyable. Things like 6 disc changer, steering wheel audio control, HID, nicer seats, roomier, wheels, more power... although I do like the hatch together with the fold down rear seats on the RSX

RSX = boy racer.
no gadgets, gizmos, luxuries, and all my friends can afford it
with CL I get all that, not just anyone is driving it, theres not 600000 on the road, etc etc.

Thanks for the input, fellas.
I'm not sure what to do. I figure I waited this long, why not wait another year? There will be a lot of nice cars coming out soon.

If i were to do it again now, I would wait a year. Anyone of those three should be an awsome car!

I don't have either but the CL-S is definitely what I would choose even though it's $10,000 Cdn more. I find it nicer look, with more goodies, and is NOT everywhere. Popularity is good until everyone has one (eg. Chicago Bull jackets were cool before they won their first championship. When all the kids and men who can't play ball decided to own one, I ditched mine :-)
I am sure the RSX is a nice car for the right people. Too small for my liking, and I probably end up trying to open someone else's door thinking it's mine :-)

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
Funny, I didn't even consider the RSX.
It's too much of a kiddy car IMO...
A co-worker recently got one and I was in it the other day, man what a POS compared to my CL...
Completely different car classes IMO...
It's like asking why would someone buy a CL Type S over a Celica :P

Simple,
6 Feet tall, 215 pounds and growing to 235.
I also have myself a pocket racer with a stick, so why get another coffin, albeit a faster one, but nonetheless, 2 coffins in the garage spell trouble.
Besides, I am going postal in the fall and getting a MDX, seems like I am about to become a father, so the question is moot.

The price tag matches what you get.
If you drive the two for more than 10 miles each, I am confident that you see the difference.

At the time, my choices were the CL-S or an Integra Type R. After driving a '95 Integra for a couple of years, I thought that the CL was going to be too big for me. But after my first test drive, I figured it was time for me to grow up and buy a big boy's car. Now that the RSX is out, I wouldn't mind having one as a project car, but I don't think I'd want to go back to it as a daily driver. I just like the little upgrades too much.

if i was had the money today I'd easily go with the CL type S just the one(CL ) I sat in was comfortable. it's a "classy"car at the same time it's a "fun car" so you can go to church or to a broadway play with your g/f or wife and race someone on the way there
where the RSX is more of just a street racer car. you don't have all the "goodies" like with the CL(like Navigation system, V-6, and other little things) but if you can spare the 10 grand you won't regret going with the CL man
