Mine is fine. Also, my power windows are OK. Heater works fine. Paint is not chipping. Rugs still work. Rear defroster is OK. Wipers still going strong. Tires are fine. Cup holder still OK. Glove compartmeny a little cramped for a cat but still OK. No hair in the seats. Engine alright. gastank is OK. Headlights are fine. turnsignals, taillights reverse lights are check. Type S symbol still there after a year, which is a miracle considering the kind of people I park next to at Giant... Trunk lid OK. sunroof OK. doors still working. driving lights OK. front and rear bumpers working fine. radio, CD plater working fine (Phil Collins rocks!). What did I miss? Oh! windshield cleaner sprayer working perfectly.

My car is running nice and smooth. Every problem is gone including the annoying sunroof rattling.

So far both my former & my current CL are runnin strong

Biggest problem as of yet, power windows on my last CL (20k on odo) are kinda jittery. Think it qualifies for lemon law?

I will hit 15K next week and besides the fact that it shifts on its own and doesn’t have a CLUTCH, it is running just fine.

I’m getting the Trans fluid changed during the 15K service as a precautionary measure.

I hope it holds together until I get the 6-Speed next year.

Tranny is perfectly fine and no squeeking either after 14k miles.

This is a good sign before I have my custom turbo kit put in.

28k here no problems as of yet not even a tranny fluid change yet. It did act weird once last week by not shifting into 5th but the car was cold and the tranny wasnt warm yet and I was going uphill. So no rattles or squeaks no anything.
(Fingers and Toes crossed while head is knocking on fake wood trim. Horseshoe overhead with a rabbits foot in my pocket, car parked in a field of 4 leaf clovers and wishing on a star)

Woah! One positive thread on the CL tranny. I wonder if anyone's mind has been changed about buying a CL if they came on this board looking for feedback and noticed all the negative posts about the tranny. I know I would've given it much thought.

I think once you pass 20000 miles, and your tranny is fine, this probably means that it will work find for a long time.

I see for most of the people problems happen before 15-20K miles

Have drag raced and no tranny problems! I recently completed a 2500m. trip driving PCH from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara and then up US 1 to Carmel/Monteray through wine country, Shasta, Ashland and home. Wow! What a hoot to drive my CL-S on so many different and cool roads! I love my car! Drove a friends 330i during the trip and like Acura overall better. The only thing that stood out clearly stronger were great BMW brakes!

Dammit if you made us jinx ourselves.
Huge empathy for those with troubled trannies.
