How many of you guys bought in the Philly area & from what dealer?

I'm looking into an 03 6 speed & only have 2 dealers in DE. One has a decent price, but I've heard cheaper numbers on this board.

Any help would be appreciated.

I bought mine from Ardmore Acura in -- you guessed it -- Ardmore (Main Line).

It's a combined VW and Acura dealership, and I think my salesman knew more about VW then Acura. Whatever. He wasn't even fully aware about the six speed. I think I may have been the first one to buy one from there a little over a year ago.

The deal I got was good, not great or something to boast about, but I don't think I got ripped.

The service dept there is nothing compared to PAA, but then again, they have not done me wrong...yet. They do give me free state inspections for buying the car there.

Ardmore is worth checking out, but also worth walking away from if they don't meet your needs. I give it an absolutely half-hearted not-quite-completely-thumbs-up.

I think the Ardmore dealership and the West Chester dealership are owned by the same people.

 

I bought all of my Acuras at Metro Acura.
I shopped at Sussman in Willow Grove (they just moved to Jenkintown) first. I then went to Metro where I was offered a great price, but I wanted to try Ardmore. Ardmore was horrible. They were so rude and snotty. The salesman actually laughed in my face when I told him my quote from Metro...so of course I went back to Metro and have been a loyal customer ever since.

 

We should forward your post AND signature to Ardmore so they can learn something about keeping a customer happy.
