Who has H&R OE springs?
I wanted to know who has the H&R OE Sport Springs? Also, how long have they been on the car? Has it settled more as time has passed? Do you know how much it really dropped the car once you put them on?
Some people are saying that they saw drops of 1.5 inches plus. But they maker says only about 1 inch drop...
Thanks for the info.

Great info guys.
All I want is about an inch. Dont want to go any lower. I want to still be able to drive my car without being anal about how I drive. Plus they are far cheaper than the Comptech.
Is there any great advantage over the Comptechs??

No. H&R springs have been tried and tested by all of the automotive industry. On some hi-end cars, they are standard.
CT springs although do have rubber sleeves to prevent banging, but you can transfer the stock sleeves to the H&Rs.

H&R Springs are very good springs, so there's not much of an advantage over Comptech. The biggest thing is that Comptech is more accepted by dealers then H&R, so that alone may be worth it.
Also keep in mind, as TypeR illuded to, the drop will be more then what's listed since the posted specs apply to the Accord, and the CL/TL is a little heavier.... so you can expect about .2" - .4" more on the drop.
If you're looking for the best drop with the best ride quality, Comptech is the way to go. H&R is a little bit stiffer, but not much.
Just an FYI... H&R OE and H&R Sports are backordered until April at the earliest. No ETA yet... but almost everyone is sold out.. us included.

Hey JuniorBean
Here is what www.powergarage had posted on their site:
Part Number Description Drops (F/R) Sport / Race
51853 98-02 Honda Accord 4 Cyl 1.5"F 1.2"R Sport
51858 98-02 Honda Accord 6 Cyl 1.5"F 1.2"R Sport
51858 00-03 Acura TL 1.75"F 1.5"R Sport
51853-88 98-02 Honda Accord 4 Cyl 2.2"F 1.75"R Race
51858-88 98-02 Honda Accord 6 Cyl 4 doors 2.2"F 1.75"R Race
51859-88 98-02 Honda Accord 6 Cyl 2 doors 2.2"F 1.75"R Race
51859-88 00-03 Acura TL 2.2"F 1.75"R Race
They say the 51858-55 drop the car 2 inches? That whole thing looks wrong...
I know I have bugged you enough, but what spring is going to give me the over-all least drop?
Thanks Junior..

That's about right... the H&R Sports advertise 1.75" f/r, but with the CL/TL being a little heavier it may be closer to 2".
The H&R OE drop the car less, but I don't see them listed on your post. They are probably out of the OE's as those have been backordered for a while. The SPorts just went out of stock... so once people like powergarage sell out... it's waiting time again![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If I had a choice between H&R Sports and Comptech Springs I'd go Comptech.

Where have you checked so far?

I'm going to get rid of my Comptechs and get some H&R OEs. I don't like the raked look of the Comptechs at all. As a matter of fact I can't stand to look at my car with them on. If anyone is wanting to trade I'm down for it.
Where can I get the OEs currently?
Thanks
