Where do you bring your car for non-waranty repairs or maintanance?

 

my buddy is ASE certified mechanic for a saturn dealership...i show him the HELMS manual and hes good to go for any work on my Acura

 

i used to go pep boys. but after my dad's run in with them, we have recently changed mechanics. he took his infinity q45 in around 12 noon to get worked on, and said he would pick it up around 7. (alignmen and oil change, nothing big) so he goes to pick it up and it turned out that they havent even started on the car. my dad did the typical yell at store manager and stuff. the next day he gets a call on his cell. another manger called to apologize. he said he would give us a free alignment and oil change. my dad took the offer, but he doesnt plan on going there after that. he took many cars there over the years. it just goes to show you taht one screw up can mess the whole thing up. its so hard to find a good mechanic these day.

 

That sounds good. I've been going to a guy that specializes in Japanese cars.
