Where's The Power?
I just got word today that I need a new tranny. I'm wondering if this could be the reason for me not feeling vtec kick in the way it did before I had the camshaft tsb done on my cl.
Does anybody know if this could be a possibility?

I hope the replacement tranny solves the issue.

It may be the actuator bypass valve that is not working properly in your CLS. Many have posted this problem. When properly working, it is supposed to let in more air into the engine. According to what I understand, the actuator bypass valve provides the extra HP that differentiates the CLS from the CLP. Acura terms this as dual stage induction. V-tech kicks in at around 4,100 RPM. Go to FAQ's for this site and read about it.

Keep in mind the tranny is new and tight again. Once it breaks in, it'll probably be fine.
