I want to see how much the console piece with the cupholder around the e-brake would cost from a junk yard, but I don't know where to begin to look.

Sorry dude. I just knew this one because I needed the same part at one point (my wife let my two golden retrievers in the car and one scratches the sh!t out of it).

Looks like ~ $145 each for the assym + glass (for an '01. I can't imagine that it is much more for the '03)

You should still be able to do this with the auto-trans. The differences aren't that big. If you have the ambition, you could mate it to a 6spd tranny (new) and be set.

Seems like a TON of work though...

I called Leith Acura, and they want $225 for the housing and the mirror. They said it comes painted.

FYI, they are not updating their site until they get the TSX information loaded.
