Where to locate CDD

Where can I find it on my car? I want to take it out this weekend. It certainly prevents me from double-clutching the gears.

You know enough to call it CDD, but can't find it in the info sticky ??

A search for dampening would have gotten you the answer real quick:

There is when my 3rd gear grinds, while waiting for my clutch to go out, if I double-clutch the tranny before I go into 3rd, it lines up the gears correctly, and does not grind as it goes in, or much less so, than simply putting the car into gear.

GreenMonster, I looked through all those threads, but I still cannot locate the actual place in the car. The diagram shows where it would be in relation to the rest of the system, I don't know where the system itself is.

Ah... syncro died on 3rd gear... that explains the need to double clutch...

Zeta posted a link to the part diagram... just follow the clutch pedal (not pictured) down to the clutch cly. (#7) and follow the hose (#15)... CDD is #23.

Ok, so #7 is where it exits into the engine bay? Then I follow it from there?
