Where can I sell my Mercedes? (Pic attached)
Hey guys,
I have to sell "Das Boat". It is a '79 SEL and is in very nice shape. Anybody have any real success with any online car selling sites? I ran it in the Boston Globe with no interest and at $110 per week, I don't want to continue to do that. Any ideas?

asking $4,500. It's a classic. The problem is that it is the 4.5 litre and in that year they also had a 6.9 litre which is the one that everyone collects. So the interest has been lukewarm. (Kind of like having a CLP instead of a CLS in 22 years... 
)

The camera is a Olympus D510 (?). $400 about 4 months ago. I like it but the flash is overpowering ending up with white eye (vs. red eye) for the night shots. These pictures were taken right at dusk so the interior shots are nice but the exterior shots are a little dark.
Either way, the car is in great shape. It's Mom's car that I bought from her in '95. She bought it in '81.

How about the usenet newsgroups? Lots of people go there. I helped a friend sell an MG that way.

Quickest and biggest audience is EBay.
The main thing to selling it, is setting the right price. I have no idea what the car is worth but if the price is too optimistic, it will never sell.
