Where are all the CL 6spds???
Hey guys, a while ago when I joined the forum I stated I'd be looking for a CL in the future. Well that time has come and I'm having the hardest time finding one. Of course I know I'm having a hard time because I'm looking for a 6spd which is very rare, but I don't see myself in an automatic. My current car is a manual. I would fall asleep at the wheel because of boredom in an auto, not to mention what I've heard about the transmission failures.
Any of you want to sell me your CL-S 6spd???

I'd need a warranty and a payment plan as well. But that's a nice ass ride. Exactly the color I'd prefer too. How many miles are on it?

Wow, you're right, I only see 2 within 100 miles of Chicago on autotrader.com, and 7 within 300 miles. I got mine on autotrader.com and there were lots of them. Strange.
check autotrader.com, do advanced search so you can specify manual shift.
There are about 60 total listed for US. I flew to OK from TX to get mine.
good luck, keep on looking you'll fine one, it's worth it!

I also test drove the '04 TL 6spd and that clutch requires NO effort. Either that or I'm just too used to the heavy brick of a clutch I have in my SHO. That's probably it. I chirped 2nd in the TL and barely noticed, it was so polite. Tight car but out of my price range.

You can also search area/state newspapers classifed sections on the web. There are 60 on autotrader. I edited my first post about it, I flew to get mine and drove it home. I've driven the TL 6 speed, very nice but I prefer my CL coupe.

right now its at 46,3xx...its still my daily driver b/c i dont want to get many miles on the Tahoe before i sell this thing. it just recently had the 45k service and they found no problems...i cant help with the payment plan and as for the warranty, i look at it like they never cover anything thats going to break, and if it does, you've still got to pay a deductible....it does have the 4year/50k still on it...

I'm trying but if I don't find one soon, an auto may be the only choice.
I've checked Autotrader, Autoweb, Cars.com, Kbb.com, Carmax.com, Carsdirect.com you name it.

One by me. Black/Black/Navi w/ 15k miles for 26<- asking price.
Kinda far away, but its a used car dealer and they could work on some sort of loan and it has the remainder of the factory warrenty.

If you limit yourself to local dealership offerings, you're going to really limit your choices of 6spd. There are only about 3000 of these things out there...
I think Zootkings price is great... And No, my SMR 6spd isn't forsale (yet)...

Zootkings price is pretty good and it's a great car but the distance would pose a problem.

Hopefully there continues to be some bit of demand for these rare cars in the years to come.
Anyone want to put a holding deposit on a 2003 Blue CL-S 6-Speed?
Mileage will be 55-60K and pickup will be spring of 2008.

E-Bay baby, EBay. I picked up a CompTech supercharged rocket in Alabama where Dr Chuck of Auto Reengineering lives. Eibach springs, Koni adjustables, dropped about 1.5", high speed fuel pump, SS CompTech exhaust and down stack, new ECU; and the puppy is shaved. Put MSR alloys w Yokohama SVR ES 100's for a little traction. Dr Chuck's magic works.

I'll put down a couple bucks, my car will need replacing by then, it will have 130k miles by that time so something with half as many will be good.

My car will be in great condition and still have a year left on the extended warranty.
I’m keeping the miles down so far.
Just turned 24K the other day and she’s 2 1/2 years old.
If I can’t find a buyer, it will become my “winter beater” and I’ll pick up a 2-seater RWD sports car for summer driving.

Scalbert, I appreciate your willingness to help. Is there an existing warranty on the car? PM me with the details

CL-Future,
I've got a silver 6spd Navi with ~21K up in Antioch, IL (Near Wisconsin Border). I had to go up to Minnesota to find it about 6 months ago to get exactly what I wanted. However, I just found out that a kid is on the way so I'm going to have to move to a more car-seat friendly vehicle in about 6 months. It is Acura certified, which would transfer to you so 5yr/62K bumper to bumper and 100K powertrain.

Found one, finally. It's Anthracite, no spoiler but I'll add one later. No navi but that's not a big deal to me. I like the subtle power of it. It's so smooth and the clutch is effortless compared to my previous car. I'm in the process of figuring out all the functions of the car. I know how to load CD's into the player but not how to switch between them , I've glanced at the owner's manual but haven't had time to check things out fully in between work and school.
BTW, I hate insurance. I'm 22 and am not use to paying more than $150/month but it's worth it I guess.
