wheel HP

is the wheel hp lower on an automatic compared to manual??? Do you lose more through the drivetrain with an automatic?

something like 20 to 22% auto, manual i think 10 to 12%.

yes because, i had a 2001 cl-s and now a 2003 cls-6... and it seems more powerful... didn't feel like quite the same engine.

It's more like 17% with the 6-speed and around 22% with the 5AT.
