I washed my baby for the first time today and got to know the exterior a little better. The coolest little touch I found was the A-C-U-R-A under the spoiler. You can really only see it when the trunk is open. I love shit like that.

 

Yeah i love that too I love that the cabin lights dim slowy and then go out when i close the door. I love that the arm rest slides out

 

I like that little indented space under the coin holder. It's a real nice spot to keep the cell phone in.

 

I like when i "touch" the accelerator

 

will automatically switch from fast-intermittent to full operation above 15mph. Almost like the auto wipers in an LS without the cost.

 

Or that when you're sitting at a red light in the rain and you have the intermittent wipers on, when you take your foot off the brake to go, the wipers swipe once to clear the windshield regardless of where they are in their cycle.

 

Really? I wonder how that works with a 6-speed because you don't always have your foot on the brake at a stop. It's supposed to rain this PM...

When I'm driving, I stick my finger in the screw hole that hold the steering wheel volume control to the steering wheel.

 

That's awesome.... I love that hole by the volume control!

 

I think the coolest "little touches" are:

- when you disable the passenger side windows and you have your lights (or parking lights) on, it will automatically turn off the lighting on the window buttons (since they're now inoperable).

- when you pull the seat forward to let somebody in the back seat, they get in, and then it starts moving back.... but instead of moving back to the original position, it goes a little bit forward than before to give the guy in back some extra leg room.

- when you are in reverse, the passenger side mirror tilts down automatically for a better view.

- that I paid $32K (CDN) for my 260hp 01 CL-S that can KICK THE CRAP out of my friends 184 hp 02 BMW 325i.... and with options that come standard on CL-S (Xenon, heated leather electric seats, 17" wheels, sunroof, auto dimming mirror, cd changer) he paid $50K - over 50% more than me!!

My favorite touch is releasing the hood and giving it just a 'touch' and watching the hood raise itself up and revealing that very sexy & sophisticated engine bay...

My other favorite touch is the pinhole for the cell-phone charger in the top of the armrest. You can plug in your charger into the socket in the deep center armrest, route the cord through the pinhole and then charge your phone while it's hidden and there are no cords to be seen! all at your fingertips!

Yeah, I got the Manual Trans so I don't get that feature. I thought that was cool on the first on I test drove. Anyone figure out a good alternative on the 03MT? Right now my cell goes in the arm rest when not in use.

 

my favorite touch is the dish under the coin holder. I never use it. but i wish i did. sometimes.

 

My favorites are the powered struts that lift the hood when you open it, dual resettable trip counters, and retractable coat hanger hook . . .

 

I love the little holder in the back of the center console (you can see it better in the back seat) Scooter holds his drugs in his (J/K) I also love the light in the glovebox that NEVER goes out.

 

•I like that you can disable the right mirror reverse tiltdown by switching the mirror selector

•6 disks in the dash ...... way cool

•Blue tinted side mirrors

•When the handbrake is disengaged (down) it seals up so there is no opening arount the lever

•When you turn the radio on the volume swells.

my favorite touch is the look i give beemer fags in their over priced box cars and the dorks i smoke in their mustangs...fucking swabbie cars....these are some of the many things i like about my moded cl s ...my shit goes fast

 

my favorite little touch is the VIN# stickers stuck on every single body panel on our cars...if u haven't seen them yet, look anywhere and everywhere on the body for them...u might find some drugs there too, so bonus to u if u can find them

a couple hints on where u can find some stickers...u need to pop trunk to see rear bumper sticker, and u need to pop the hood to see both fender stickers...the rest is up to u!!!

i like how the cup holder "doors" open smoothly with just a touch of a button. For some reason every girl that has gotten in my car thought that was the coolest thing.

no no no by far the hottest little thing on our cars is the trunk release INSIDE the trunk. This gives you clues to how boring my life is where i get entertainment in closing myself in the trunk and then opening it from the glow in the dark lever

I hope you know that is not a coin holder..... Any coins you have in there now, GET them out while u still can. The coins go behind and screw up the radio. It is not covered under the warranty since you screwed it up with coins.

I am fond of the stash spot under the cup holder insert. Not that its ever been used of course.

 

1 day, my Nokia did a disappearing act in the cup holder...i found it later in the center armrest compartment

 

i love the heated seats..every car i have from now on HAS to have them...
Got to do a double take sometimes...when those bad boys get hot...you think you pissed you pants

 

I like the 1-2 setting for the seats. I set it for all the way back on #1 so I can get my fat ass in. Then press #2 for the correct position. Use the #1 remote to unlock the car and the seat automatically goes in to the #1 position.
