What's the strangest thing you've ever seen on a car?

I have now seen it all. I swear people will do ANYTHING to a Honda just for the sake of change!

I saw an '88-91 Civic hatchback turned into not just a flatbed pickup, but a CONVERTIBLE flatbed pickup. He chopped off the entire roof, threw what was basically a piece of canvas over the front passenger compartment. He even cut out a piece of the canvas and replaced it with plastic to serve as a window. The rear seats had been removed and a flat board to serve as a pickup bed was placed in the rear seat/hatchback section.

I gotta remember to keep the digital camera with me at all times!

I saw a red civic coupe turned into a giant red jalapeno pepper! It was in Key West, FL - was for a local restaurant. Fiberglassed over the back end for the curved bell part. had custom green paint for the tip. just can't remember the name of the place...

The funniest thing I ever saw: A full-size diesel pickup truck that was stretched about 25 feet into a limo! That's right, it was un-fscking believable. You talk about extended cab... This cab was extended so far the thing was about as big as an 18-wheeler. It even had the normal standard size truck bed at the very end. I couldn't tell if it was a Ford or a Chevy. It even had those white lights in between each window and limo tint... I thought it must be some rich-ass cowboy with nothing better to do with his money. I mean, who in their right mind would turn a full-size pickup truck into a limo?

In AZ there is a company named Truley Nolan. It is an extermination co. All of their company cars have huge mouse ears on top an a 4 foot tail sticking out of the back...

Please have a crane drop on my car so I have to buy a new CL-S. But wait till I'm not in the car. Thanks

In Austin, every so often I see an older model Firebird (early '90s) jacked up about four feet off the ground with huge 36" Super-Swampers and glass packs. Loud as hell and the driver looks like a casting reject from Deliverence.

Now that you mention this...

Several years back when I lived at home one of our neighbors used to take Limo's... raise them 10 feet off the ground and put huge bigfoot monster truck wheels on them.

He made it into quite a business... started a limo service and built 5 custom limos.

People that dream of a gutter trash wedding need a way to get around too

A few months ago, I saw an Acura Integra
with a picture of Calvin urinating on Honda.
Note that Acura is just a front for Honda.
Acura doesn't really make any cars.
Either this guy was completely clueless,
or isn't too fond of his close relatives.

Ocala seems to be the truck capital of the world and sure enough there is a stretched white limo truck (dually diesel of course). I called cause i wanted to get a pic of it to send to my friends up north but it is never in. I did how ever get a picture of a tractor (yes a tractor) in the mall. There is a dealership (Ocala Ford) that sells more huge super duty, 4X4s, crew cab, dualles than i have ever seen in my life. Right now they are having a big sale on trucks so their whole lot is nothing but giant trucks and a navigator stretch limo. Its amazing that these rednecks will spend 50k+ on these trucks and put the tackiest stuff on ever Like spoilers on the tail gate that are as high as the roof line, but yet live in trailor parks haha

By Satin01CL: "A Firebird with a Testarossa conversion package. I was completely fooled."

My "viewing" was a Ford Probe (older one - not current body style) with the same Testarossa conversion package! It wasn't even RED!

What a laugh I got out of that one!

Want to drive a funny car,try a Citroen 2CV I drove one of these things in Europe once absolutely hysterical!! the shifter comes straight out of the dashboard ,0-60 happens if you wait long enough and it corners by leaning so far over that the door handles are dragging on the street. It has three lug nuts tires that would look real nice on a mountain bike and removable seats for a picnic.Jens
