I'd definitely grab onto an NSX if I could afford it; like several others on here have said---you see them infrequently( at least I do) and its still an impressively styled car. I can only imagine what it's like to drive. And the reliability factor that R&T mentions is a real plus in an exoticar. Just too bad they're so pricey.

What does NSX stand for?

Meaning the initials N-S-X?

Anyone know?

I was talking to the salesman that sold me my car and he mentioned that the 2003 NSX will be totally redesigned. I don't know if he was talking out of his a$$ but he sounded like he knew for sure.
They had a 2002 in the showroom...drool...

It's amazing how this 10 year old design that hasn't changed much is still considered hot. I love it!

Nate's example of the Rolex is perfect. Mont Blanc is the same way.

Another example is your Mom, Amir. what she is about 45 now and she still looks hot. For 2002, she too got a face lift (implants included) which helps her keep up with the competition. She is fast, handles well and very reliable...just like the NSX.

I hope you learned your lesson and you won't knock on the NSX again.

If thats my mom, then your mom is a fucking public bus, cause shes huge, and everyone rides it, not just 1 owner. She also gets paid in coins for people to ride her.

no but seriuosly, i cant relate, cause u would pay 90k to ride a nsx, and your then brought my mother in this, so i can only come to the conclusion that you thought about this thinking about your own mother, therefore its safe to say you would pay your mom 90k to ride her.

Thankx Acura3.0CLP

Actually, the Rolex is way overpriced in my opinion (I love IWC )... but it is a status symbol none the less, and is as they say "timeless." It is truely a classic without a doubt-- the NSX may just be this as well. Same could be said for Mont Blanc's line of pens, leather goods, etc.

i know it handles, but is that ALL??

its hardly even fast!

i think its a joke,

i got tired of the looks in 1992, its 10 years later now..whats so special about it? a decade later they still be asking for 130k canadian..

why does acura think they can charge so much for that junk?

which fools pay 130k for that?

sorry, need to vent.

maybe if the car was around 40k u.s. i would consider it, even with its decade old looks...

am i the only person here that only likes the CL/TL/MDX from acura?

i think all their other cars suck... i mean, the TL-S SHOULDNT be nicer/faster than a new RL...doesnt make sense to me.

its funny how i can hate every acura, but on the other hand love to death my own CL-S...
Well shiet Mr. Bling Bling, a 3-series is just the same then by your comparison.
Handles well, not that fast, same looks for how many years, pricey...and so on. Oh wait, why am I ranting at you about this. Must have gotten you mixed up with Mr. Crazy-Acura-Sellout.

And Tom2 does have his head on straight today..

And here's some more pics taken by me:

How are NSX's regarded in Japan...

Rolex's represent status here, but Germans laugh at people with Rolexes, just like Mexicans laugh at people who drink Corona...

Arent there a billion things you can do to the NSX (esp. styling wise) in Japan...

Just give me a JGTC NSX or a Realtime NSX and I'll be happy ...

On a side note...does anyone get the JGTC on cable or satellite...

Rolex is def. not worth the $. My grandfather has 2 and he has to pay $100 each to get them cleaned every year. If they aren't cleaned then they break. They probably made them that way on purpose....

Mont Blanc is a different story. It's a true writing experience (i own a few). People say $200+++ for a pen is crazy, but if you drop it, and fuck it up, Mont blanc will service it for you making it look and feel brand new...for around 20 bucks, unlike Rolex.

So what does this have to do with the NSX? Nothing, I just felt like rambling.

True... all mechanical (no battery) or "automatic" watches require service every 1-3 years.
I imagine the NSX is pretty expensive when it comes in for service as well.

It really couldn't matter at this point... I hope any of this helped amir.
Sometimes comparisons can help. I thought Rolex may help b/c it is expensive / unpractical / status symbol--like Acura NSX is I believe. Hot car for sho though

See for a used NSX...I don't think it is expensive or unpractical...considering it is an exotic...
