If you want one, I have one that I pulled out of my car due to supercharging my CL-S 6 speed about 1.5 months ago. The filter is brand new. It has about 8k miles on it and my car has 13786 miles. Let me know if you are interested in a semi used one. I have original box and instructions. Also I will clean it and re oil filter if you chose to buy it.

The right clip won't fit back into its slot. Anyone have any solutions?

I had to snake one arm around to grab the cover where the clip is, and push down on the cover while pushing towards the engine with the the other hand. Wiggling the cover will help.
Make sure the filter is in flush (I had a bit of trouble even with it in correctly) or ask someone to help... It's *almost* a 3 hand job, but I did it with 2...

But after more failure, i ended up shaving 1cm off the plastic edge of the filter facing the engine so the cover could actually fit on the filter and into those damn clips

Only took me about 15 minutes total (had to find the 8mm socket). I did struggle with the rear clip for a couple of minutes. It's tight, but that's the way you want it

I didn't think of it, but maybe getting the rear clip to seat first and then the front one would work better

For me the rear clip wouldn't fit at all, regardless of how you angled or mashed it. Maybe the weather (in Canada) altered the plastic a bit. Hot summers, -30 celcius winters.

I put mine in just last night. I was thinking that I could use a screwdriver to leverage the slot on the bottom half over the tab on the top half....yeah, the slot snapped off. But it fits now
Seems to be tight.
I did notice a slight whooshing sound when I turn the engine off. I associated this with "back-pressure" created when the vacume from the intake ceases. I hope I'm right about that.
